We were 4 mature couples who regularly holiday together and the cottage worked really well for all of us. Its in a location we all love. We are a fairly practical bunch so were able to make good use of aga and the wood burners - the proximity of the village pubs was a huge bonus.

Really enjoyed our short break. The cottage is generally very nice and clean, although I would recommend the main entrance sitting room carpet is cleaned. The first floor floors are very uneven and can actually make you feel a little dizzy at times. We had water pouring into the second lounge (off the kitchen) from the rear patio - but we had torrential rain during most of our stay. Hide

We loved the characterful cottage and it had just the right set up of bedrooms for our party. Attic room is probably best suited to children although we did manage! Location is stunning. Great garden with easy access to the common. Great for 6 but layout and fittings for 8 sleeping, so needs care in scheduling access to toilets and the single shower room. Im happy to recommend this cottage but warn that it is an older property with quirks but charming if you accept them.

A beautiful cottage in a wonderful location, very close to Corfe Castle. Instructions and responsiveness from Danielle before and during our stay were very helpful. We had a wonderful time and only wish we couldve stayed longer!

Lovely cottage well equipped for all ages. Cottage being located on a busy road needs to be noted and parking is away from the cottage. Great location for local amenities.

The cottage is lovely with a large beautiful garden and we enjoyed our stay. A few points to note: it is on the main road near a zebra crossing and double yellow lines and the car park is a short walk away. The property is described as having 3 bathrooms which implies 3 toilets. This is not the case there are only 2 toilets, one downstairs not closRead moree to bedrooms. The ensuite bath is accessed via steps and the only way to open windows in the room is from the bath - not very convenient. Hide

Lovely cottage in great location. Attic room not ideal for adults due to stairs, but a beautiful room. Could do with w.c.in main bedroom.

My only complaint is that this is advertised as a 3 bathroom when in fact it has two baths, one shower but only two toilets one of those being downstairs - too far for night time. If a property is advertised as 3 bathroom it gives the impression of 3 toilets. Apart from this the house is fabulous, although on main road there was no issue with noiseRead more. This is a charming cottage, full of character and with stunning views from the back of the house and it's beautiful garden. The front door leads directly onto the pavement and a busy road.
