One of a complex of holiday cottages, situated on a caravan park with plentiful leisure facilities, just a short drive from Looe.

Discover Cornwall’s beautiful south coast from this large property set within a 50-acre holiday park. It’s less than 2 miles from the popular harbour town of Looe, as well as being within easy reach of many other pretty seaside towns and villages. With six bedrooms for up to 12 people, it’s an ideal spot for large groups or families looking for a getaway close to the sea. After a busy day, take your glass of wine out into the courtyard to relax in the private hot tub in the garden. You’ll be able to make the most of the many onsite facilities that surround the property too, shared with other guests at the park, including an indoor heated swimming pool and games room with pool and air hockey.

 

 

The comfortable lounge is on the first floor in the eaves of the property, while the rest of the rooms are downstairs. Relax on the leather sofas with a good book or enjoy movie nights with your whole family. Meals can be prepared in the bright, spacious kitchen that is equipped with a range cooker and American fridge/freezer with ice maker. Have breakfast together in the conservatory dining area, which spills out on to the enclosed garden area complete with wooden picnic benches. On a sunny day, take your morning coffee outside to enjoy the view out to sea across the rolling Cornish countryside. If you fancy a night off from cooking, pick up a takeaway from within the site or dine out in one of the many excellent pubs and seafood restaurants in Looe. The property has six cosy bedrooms for getting a good night’s rest – three doubles, each with their own TV, plus three twin rooms that are ideal for children or grandparents.

With so many facilities onsite, it’s understandable if you’re reluctant to venture too far away from your cottage. But there are several sandy beaches beckoning, including the family-friendly ones at Looe and Talland Bay (6 miles), great for swimming and rock pooling. Alternatively, why not explore the picture-postcard fishing village of Polperro (7 miles)? It’s a lovely place just to stroll around, or you can take a boat trip to the bustling port of Fowey. Further afield, the world-famous Eden Project is well worth getting out of bed for. Experience the world’s largest greenhouse and discover the tropical plants that are used to produce everyday products.

Good quality accommodation, the courtyard was not as private as we would have liked but this is down to personal preference. The property is surprisingly quiet for its location

As a group of two families (6 adults and 5 children) we found this cottage ideal for space and located next to the swimming pool it kept the children happy! Very well equipped with everything you could think of and a member of staff always nearby to call upon if any problems - we had a frothy hot tub and a problem with the tv and these issues were Read moredealt with and resolved very quickly and efficiently Hide
