Located close to the ancient port and modern market town of Bideford with it's shops, cafes, pubs and restuarants and where you can enjoy a day trip to the glorious Lundy Island on the MS Oldenburg. You are also just a ten minute drive from the golden sandy beaches at Westward Ho!, Instow, Croyde and Northam Burrows. Towns such as Barnstaple and the picturesque Ilfracombe are also in the area. Nearby are a wealth of attractions including RHS Rosemoor, the cobbled streets of Clovelly, Dartington Crystal and many more. Further afield are such popular attractions as The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Park.

Enter this immaculate detached house into a spacious entrance hall which is a perfect place to hang coats and store sandy shoes after a day on the beach. Step down into the lounge where you will find a bright and airy space with fabulous river views, there are also doors which open onto a raised terrace. The terrace is great for sunbathing or star watching with its big sky view. The welcoming lounge is ideal for kicking back and relaxing with a Smart TV, wood burner and snuggle up sofas. There is a separate dining room which also enjoys river views and has a wood burner, it is a great room for family meals or special celebrations. If you do decide to stay in and cook there is a well-equipped kitchen, it has a range cooker with electric ovens and a gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine, you don’t even need to do the dishes as there is a dishwasher in the kitchen to do the work for you. The first of the five bedrooms is also downstairs, a king-size benefiting from a wood burner. Finishing the ground floor accommodation is a cloakroom with a WC. Heading upstairs are the remaining four bedrooms, the first is a double with views over the garden and to the river, it also benefits from a ‘Jack and Jill’ en-suite bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. The second is a twin with zip-and-link beds that can be made into a super-king-size on request, this room also benefits from river views and an en-suite walk in shower and WC. The third bedroom is a twin with an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC and the final bedroom is a king-size which boasts river views and a private balcony and has an en-suite shower room with shower and WC. All bedrooms benefit from TVs and tea and coffee making facilities.

Heading outside you can relax at the end of an enjoyable day on the decking area with ample seating in the beautiful gardens with a water feature, summer house and being situated on the riverside you will have fantastic river views (young children to take care). Relax and unwind and take in the stunning river views, or you could even get on the water in one of the onsite Mambo sit-on kayaks which are free to use and can be launched directly from the terrace. You can also meet the resident goats, pigs, chickens, ducks and miniature donkey. There is ample parking at the end of the garden, but it is possible to drop luggage straight outside of the door but please note this is approached via a steep drive.
