Directly in front of the property, the town’s harbour is a pretty working fishing harbour where visitors can watch the local fishermen come and go with the day’s catch. Further around the coast, still within walking distance, the town’s unique Tunnels Beach, is exactly what the name suggests: a collection of sandy and shingle cliff-backed beaches, accessed via a network of Victorian tunnels, offering a cafe-bar, picnic area, wetsuit area, and a tidal pool. The town has a number of well-regarded eateries, and a range of interesting shops, as well as choice of fun boat trips, and an aquarium. Also visit Combe Martin, Mortehoe, and Woolacombe.

Entering the property on the ground floor, guests will find the first of two lounges: a relaxing room which offers access out to the property’s seafront terraces, a large sofa, comfortable chairs, a Smart TV, table football and a selection of games. The property’s spacious kitchen/diner is also located on the ground floor, where the dining table sits in front of the windows with harbour views, and behind which a wood burner keeps the room lovely and warm, even in the coldest winter months. The kitchen area here has a large island unit, an oven, hob, American-style fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and a Smart TV. There is also a wet room with a shower and WC on the ground floor, great for a quick freshen-up after a day at the beach. Taking the stairs to the first floor, guests will find the main lounge, with its bay window with splendid sea views, access onto the balcony, Smart TV, and an additional wood burner. Two of the property’s five bedrooms are also on this floor: a king-size and a twin room. The king-size room has a lovely en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath, separate shower, and WC, whilst the twin room has an en-suite shower and WC. The remaining three bedrooms are located on the second floor, where there are two king-size rooms, and one twin. The first of the king-size rooms has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, separate shower, and WC, whilst the other two rooms each have an en-suite shower and WC.
Outside, there are two seafront terraced patios, the first of which on the ground floor, has garden furniture and a BBQ. Steps from this area lead up to the second patio area, where a large table seating 12 makes a wonderful place for al fresco dining as the sun sets over the harbour. A balcony which is accessed from the first-floor lounge, offers yet another place to sit out and enjoy those beautiful views and watch the boats coming and going below. There is roadside parking available in front of the property.
