A beautifully refurbished luxury holiday home set against the equally stunning backdrop of the Aberfeldy countryside, Perthshire House is a hidden Scottish jewel. Nestling in 5 acres of private grounds, it is secluded and idyllic, the perfect spot to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a getaway with family and friends.
Perthshire House sleeps 18 guests across nine sumptuous double bedrooms, each one benefitting from a beautifully finished en-suite shower room. Two of the bedrooms have the added indulgence of freestanding baths, where you can luxuriate in your own private sanctuary. Other bedrooms offer wet rooms and one has a steam room, so by the end of your visit, all your guests will feel well and truly pampered. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, providing comfortable accommodation for guests who require increased accessibility. For added flexibility, three of the bedrooms have zip and link beds and can be converted to twin rooms on request.
The living areas reflect the same attention to detail; the handsome kitchen presents a bespoke design, with large island, gas range stove, American-style fridge freezer and two dishwashers. Two further fridge freezers can be found in the utility room, providing everything you’ll need to cook up mouth-watering meals during your stay.
Enjoy your culinary creations in the vast dining room/drawing room with its beautiful 20-seater table and natural wood floor. A splash of colour in the form of a contemporary corner sofa brings vibrancy to the room and a patio door leads onto the terrace, inviting you to welcome the outside in on warm days. The lounge offers yet more space for relaxation with comfortable seating for up to 14 people to snuggle up in front of the crackling wood-burning fire. Further sofa seating can be found in the TV snug, which provides a cosy retreat in which you can enjoy Sky TV, Netflix or games on the Xbox. A boot and cloakroom are convenient for storing muddy boots after long walks in the countryside.
Outside, drink in the awe-inspiring views over the Tay Valley to Schiehallion from the large terrace or while relaxing in the indulgent wood-fired hot tub (from June 2019) which is set in a secluded part of the grounds.
Many extra services are offered to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, from personal catering delivered by a trusted local team, butler service for all self-catered stays to picnic lunches and or an exquisite welcome hamper.
The beautiful property and its grounds are a glorious backdrop for an unforgettable wedding or corporate event. Each event is unique, and packages can be tailored to your individual requirements.
