This stunning estate is set on the edge of the Polden Hills and Somerset Levels, this enchanting property will not leave guests wanting for anything.

This period estate is conveniently situated between Glastonbury and Bridgwater with easy access to the M5 motorway. You can stroll to the pub and local shops are only a short drive away. If you fancy a day at the beach, there are plenty to choose from including Berrow and Kilve. The property is ideal for those wanting to explore many of the West Country’s beauty spots and attractions. Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole Caves are great day trips, or venture to the cities of Bath and Wells, all accessible from the property.

Upon entering the property, the entrance hall leads to the drawing room with oak beams, comfy chaises-longue’s, shiny brasses, Smart TV and a wood burner, this room also provides access to the conservatory. The cosy morning room offers further seating, a Smart TV and Nintendo Wii. The dining room contains a lovely feature fireplace complete with wood burner and there is ample seating around two large oval tables. Head through to the farmhouse-style kitchen with its adjoining scullery and larder, a gorgeous place to prepare food and is well-equipped with an electric Range oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and two dishwashers. The pantry breakfast room offers an additional dining area, perfect for afternoon teas or children’s meals. There is ample kitchen storage along with plenty of equipment for all your culinary needs. The former larder is now a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and additional fridge, and is also a good place to leave coats and boots. The main house has six bedrooms on the first floor, first is a super-king-size bedroom with dressing room and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC, there are two twin bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC and the other with an en-suite shower room with WC, and three double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room with WC. One of the double rooms has an inter-connecting door with a twin bedroom and a large bathroom, making this an ideal family suite. Completing this floor is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Head over to the cottage and enter a large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which provides a relaxed contemporary space with glass doors leading on to the outside terrace area and garden. The lounge area boasts comfy sofas and a Smart TV to relax after a busy day. The well-equipped kitchen hosts an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher along with a dining table for those wonderful family meals. The first of the three bedrooms can be found on the ground floor, a twin zip-and-link (which can be made into a super-king-size on request) with views out over the garden, and there is a ground floor wet bathroom. Head up to the first floor and you will find a super-king-size bedroom and a further super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request). Completing the accommodation is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Head outside and wander among the fully enclosed gardens with beautiful fruit trees, spot wildlife and simply relax in the extensive grounds that offer a magical collection of gardens, there is also a vegetable patch. There is a children’s play area incorporating a swing and wooden playhouse with slide, croquet lawn, a badminton garden and a mini football pitch. There is ample parking available.
