The traditional Norfolk countryside is the perfect setting for this visually striking barn conversion. You will feel off the beaten track here although, the barn is within a small complex of similar properties and Holt is just 7 miles away. The restoration and conversion has been done creatively with high vaulted ceilings remaining in place, huge rooms and plenty of glass allowing vast amounts of natural light to flood in. The magnificent fireplace in the lounge/dining room hosts an impressive wood burner surrounded by leather sofas, and the dining table offers the perfect rendezvous point to make memories of good food, good company and great conversation. The piano and the fabulous games rooms are noteworthy accessories that will enrich everyone's holiday experience, albeit with the whole family or a group of friends. And the dogs can go too.

A masterful living/dining room inducts you into the barn style of living. The chic country kitchen has a grand AGA-style oven and fabulous tiled flooring, with enough space for a catch up on gossip and a glass of fizz, whilst you cook up a storm between you. With Sky TV, DVD and iPod dock the gang will be entertained. The snooker table in the games room is full size so they can hold a proper tournament – this house is spilling with treasures, and the enclosed garden is furnished with table and chairs plus the hot tub is available for use. The impressive bedrooms are warm and inviting. The younger members of the group may enjoy the low-beamed twin room up in the eaves, which is only accessed by a steep narrow staircase that makes you want to explore.

Just 7 miles to the market town of Holt where you can meander through the streets gathering supplies, checking out the antique shops, boutiques and the locally baked goods in the delicious cafes and delis. Sheringham is a thriving seaside town and is 13 miles away and it's only 12 miles to Blakeney National Trust Nature Reserve on the unspoiled Norfolk coastline. Here you can go walking on the shingle beach at Cley-next-the-Sea and Salthouse, staying near the waters edge so as not to disturb nesting birds. Perhaps take the children crabbing at the quay, then wander along to Morston Quay to the refreshment kiosk. Blakeney Point is where the locally operated seal watching boats (during spring and summer) depart from – this is a fabulous trip for all the family to enjoy.

Absolute gem of a place!!! We celebrated my husbands 60th birthday with family. It was very suitable for all ages with snooker table, hot tub, books, games, children's rocking horse and play area. The upstairs bedroom is suitable for 2 young children. We had 4 super kingsize rooms all with ensuite. Thoroughly enjoyed cooking family food on the AGA,Read more BBQ and then relaxing by an open fire. The snooker table had plenty of use by us all, and became the evening entertainment room with music. 5 Stars Hide

Spacious property ideal for a relaxing group holiday. I especially enjoyed using the AGA and hot tub. The snooker table, games and books enjoyed by all. The fifth bedroom is a loft room with narrow stairs - suited to older children, teens or agile adults. We had an amazing time. The location was peaceful and idyllic, warm and comfortable. We had a family get together celebrating Christmas and was so beautifully decorated for the season. The barn was very big, plenty of room for us, 7 adults, two of which have disabilities.. We enjoyed a dip in the hot tub, which was great. This barn is lovely and big and perfect for our multigenerational break. Dining table is huge and lots of comfy sofas. Garden is enclosed so safe for dogs. Hot tub was a lovely treat. Location is quite isolated down single track roads but handy for all the main sightseeing spots. There are 2 other B & B barns on the site as well and a horse stable Read moreso although the position seems isolated there are others around. We had a lovely time and would recommend. Hide

The overall impression of the cottage was very good. However, the fifth bedroom upstairs is only accessed by a vertical ladder which in our view was unsafe. The headspace in the bedroom is restricted making the bedroom unsuitable for adults. As we intended this bedroom to be used by adults it did not compare favourably with the other bedrooms.

A group of eight enjoyed our week at Pantile Barn. The facilities were great all having en-suite facilities meant no queues! We mastered cooking on the Aga. We had a great choice of places to enjoy .It was definitely worth the wait! Our only negative comment was from the readers that the lighting wasnt good.
