This fabulous property has been decorated in a contemporary yet sympathetic country style and is perfectly placed for exploring the counties of Cornwall and Devon, and both the north and south coasts.

The immediate area is a haven for wildlife, and walkers can enjoy some picturesque strolls direct from the property. Alternatively, and just a short drive away, Bodmin Moor, the Tamar Valley and Dartmoor National Park are waiting to be explored. If you enjoy the sea, head north and visit Bude, the quaint fishing village of Clovelly, and spectacular Hartland Point. Head south and explore an array of scenic coves and picturesque fishing villages, such as Mevagissey, Looe and Polperro on the Cornish side, and the beautiful South Hams in Devon. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include the picturesque cathedral cites of Exeter and Truro, The Eden Project, Tamar Otter Park and the Camel Trail.

Stepping into the property you immediately find yourself in a beautifully spacious lounge/kitchen/diner with a traditional slate floor and large sliding glass doors to outside. A leather sofa sits in front of a Smart TV with Sky TV (basic entertainment package), and cosy wood burner. The kitchen area is also exquisitely presented and equipped, and boasts an AGA (constantly running from October to March inclusive), additional electric AGA oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a useful separate WC located just off the lounge. Heading further into the property a second snug/lounge offers a perfect opportunity to relax and unwind and this boasts a TV and a further wood burner, along with French doors leading to outside. The final offering on the ground floor is a useful utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The first floor is divided into two wings and approached by two separate staircases. Ascending the first staircase you will find yourself amongst the largest arrangement of bedrooms and here there is a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC, a further king-size with a separate dressing area, and a cosy twin. There is also a spacious bathroom with feature roll-top copper bath, separate wet room with shower and WC. On the other side of the property and approached by a second set of stairs, there is a delightful master super-king-size with en-suite shower room and WC. Additional accommodation is provided in the shape of a beautiful garden cottage and this offers studio style accommodation comprising a king-size bedroom area with en-suite shower room with WC, and a kitchen area.

Venturing outside, there is a large enclosed tiered cottage garden with lawn, gravelled patio area, decked area with two, eight seater picnic benches, BBQ,  and lovely countryside views. Private off-road parking for four cars is provided to the front of the property.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Beautiful house ideally located for exploring the area. The views from the house itself were incredible and the rooms very comfortable. The huge shower in the main bathroom was very popular! Great place and the owners couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming.

This property is a beautiful Holiday Home. We visited with family, 10 of us in total and it is extremely comfortable and spacious. It is extremely well equipped and on several nights we chose to eat in as it was a shame not to use the excellent kitchen! We loved this house. It was absolutely beautiful. Really well furnished with fantastic views. Probably the nicest house we have ever stayed in as a family. We would really recommend it. The property was first rate and it is a very good area to go to different coasts and great walks too.

Super property for our group of 4 couples. Very good value. Four very good, comfortable double bedrooms plus a twin which we did not use. Two comfortable lounges with large televisions if weather not good. About 1.5 miles, 35 mins on foot, to the Spaniel pub for good pub grub and a drink and 6 miles from Launceston for Tesco or M&S for food etc. WeRead morell positioned for many of the attractions in East Cornwall. Stunning house with beautiful decor. The open-plan living was perfect for our two-family party - huge table for mealtimes, massive sofas to seat all 9 adults and a well-equipped, sociable kitchen for the cooks! We stayed over Christmas 2017 with my family and our dogs. We had such a great time and we werr overwhelmed with the accommodation. Everything you needed for a luxury stay. The area was lovely and rural, plenty of long dog walks and some lovely local little pubs. The Owners were very helpful and did everything they could to accommodate us.
