A former watermill in a tranquil lakeside setting, Moulin du Ruisseau nestles within a wooded park in the charming hamlet of St Eloi in picturesque Brittany.
Sleeping 22, across the main house and the annex, the attractive property boasts an indoor pool and sauna, and provides exceptional accommodation for large groups of family and friends.
When it comes to relaxation, Moulin du Ruisseau is beyond compare. The indoor heated swimming pool is the perfect spot for a morning swim and is visible through a window from the kitchen offering peace of mind when supervising children. A sauna and poolside seating area around an open fire provide yet more opportunities for repose.
The living room features a television and pool table, while further comfortable seating can be found in the open-plan kitchen diner. With room to seat 22 guests comfortably, the dining area sets the scene for sociable meals, cooked up in the fully-equipped kitchen. While you dine, you can enjoy views of the lake just a few metres beyond the window.
Each of the bedrooms is comfortable and spacious, with scenic outlooks over the river and woodland.
Outside, the vast, fenced terrace offers a tranquil space for sunbathing, siestas or al-fresco dining, all with exceptional views over the lakes. A barbecue, garden furniture and loungers are provided, as well as a small boat for forays onto the lake.
The hydrangeas, rhododendrons, heather, weeping willows and chestnut trees surrounding the watermill have repeatedly won it first prize in Morbihan’s ‘houses in bloom’ competitions. Brittany’s beautiful coast is within an hour’s drive, and the cultural city of Quimper is just 45 minutes away, not to mention numerous charming towns and villages in the close vicinity.
