This was a great cottage for a large family holiday. There is an excellent co-op within walking district. We saw deer, rabbits, pheasants, goats. The walks around are lovely. The cafe next door offers excellent hospitality. Staithes is very friendly. We had a lovely time and the fact that the owner lives next door meant that should there be any proRead moreblems, they can be resolved quickly. Hide

We enjoyed our stay at the property - the living room was cosy and had a nice feel, the bedrooms were well decorated and comfortable. The location was great and we loved the on site cafe. The property could do with some additional equipment - there were no hairdryers for example. The fridge was small for a group of 10 people, and the kitchen was a Read moretight squeeze. So if you are planning on catering in a lot during your holiday this might not be ideal. Hide
