Situated between Parracombe and Combe Martin, Parracombe boasts a traditional pub and friendly village shop while Combe Martin has a small beach and a selection of shops and eateries. Venturing further afield, are the sandy beaches of Croyde and Woolacombe famous for their surf. Visit the historic villages of Lynton and Lynmouth and take a ride on the famous cliff railway. Local family attractions include Watermouth Castle, The Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Exmoor Zoo. For those looking to stay closer to home, there are horse riding stables close by and there are public foot and cycle paths almost directly from the property. For nature lovers, it’s the perfect setting for red deer, buzzards, bats and owls.
Stepping into this smart former farmhouse, you are greeted by the large and impressive kitchen/diner with slate floor with underfloor heating, warm underfoot, you immediately feel at home. Cook and chat in this large social space with everything you need to prepare a family meal, or a quick snack, equipped with electric range oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Sit around the large dining table before relaxing in the separate lounge with comfy sofas, wood burner and low lighting, sit peacefully and read or watch your favourite movie on the Smart TV. In the central lobby area is a useful utility room with washing machine and a separate WC. Children and adults will also love the snug/games room which has a Smart TV, books and games. From this room one of the two staircases leads up to the bedrooms which are all spacious and extremely comfortable. There is a family suite with a super-king-size bed with adjoining bunk bedroom, both sharing an en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. There is a king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request), with an en-suite shower room with WC. A king-size with en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC, and a triple room with twin zip-and-link (which can be made up as a king-size on request) with an additional single and a further pull out single bed, (please be aware this room has slight head restriction), and also has an en-suite shower room with WC.
Heading outside, there is a gravelled drive leading across to the enclosed lawn area accessed via four steps with seating and charcoal BBQ. There is off-road parking for three cars.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
