Converted into a contemporary space that comfortably sleeps eight people (and welcomes two dogs), you'll easily disconnect from the daily grind here. Go for a dip in the heated indoor pool, put on a fancy spread or simply enjoy being in the company of the ones you love.

 

Conveniently laid out over a single level, there is a boutique feel to the interior of this home. There are three bright and beautiful double bedrooms and one twin - all have their own TV and sleek en-suite wet room, so there'll be no morning queues. The main living area is brilliant for spending time with everyone in the same room. The space comprises of the lounge, kitchen and dining space so the conversation can carry on no matter what you're up to. The kitchen is a clean design and is equipped with everything you'll need to serve up a feast. The social space also has a Smart TV, so you can make your Netflix choice and enjoy a chilled evening in. There are bi-folding doors that allow natural light to pour in, and on a warm day, you can throw them open to extend the living area into the garden. Outside is a secluded patio and lawn space surrounded by stunning countryside views. The patio has a table and chairs for when you fancy lighting up the BBQ for a meal alfresco. Guests are also welcome to use the indoor heated swimming pool (open from May to October).

The charming town of Wedmore is only 2 miles away and has a selection of pubs and independent shops, or shoppers can indulge in a trip to Clarks Shopping Village (9.5 miles). Adventurers can explore the caves at Wookey Hole (7 miles) and nature enthusiasts will gravitate to Glastonbury Tor (8 miles).

Property is situated in a lovely area of countryside. The converted stable block is very comfortable and well equipped. Near village of Wedmore is lovely with nice places to eat and drink. We had a really lovely holiday at Manor Barn. The cottage is very well-equipped with a very large and comfortable sofa. It was lovely to have some welcome items and an easy check in/out. We were two families staying together and would have preferred a queen-sized bed in one of the 3 double rooms, but nothing to complain about. It was helpful that wRead moree could bring a dog. Absolutely loved our stay, like a home from home. We loved as 2 families having our own separate bathrooms and plenty space for everyone. Had everything you could need. The owners were very pleasant and accommodating with a couple of our requests. All rooms in the barn were light and airy and the warm swimming pool a great hit for all of the 3 generations of our party.

Manor Barn is lovely, comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The owners are friendly and helpful but don't bother you. They have 2 beautiful dogs too. We really have no negatives. The only thing that would give the location 5* is if there were walks right from the doorstep, lovely area for trips out in a car so our dogs did enjoy their holiday.

This is an outstanding holiday accommodation in a lovey setting. The house was warm and well-equipped. Bedrooms spacious and comfortable. Pre-visit Information provided was comprehensive. What a lovely, well equipped property. We stayed here for October half term week for a family holiday which included grandparents, parents, children, a baby and two dogs. The house was very comfortable and a great base for visiting the surrounding areas. The pool was especially appreciated and enjoyed by all.

Lovely property, plenty of room for everyone. The swimming pool was perfect especially as we were there in the extreme heat! A fabulous selection of local goods in the thoughtful welcome pack. Very friendly owners next door who helped with any questions we had. Highly recommended.

This is the second time we've been to Manor Barn in as many years. It's a good set up for our daughter who has mobility problems, which is why we went back for a second year. The house is lovely, and there is lots to see and do within under an hour drive of the accommodation. We were disappointed this year with how cold the swimming pool was.
