Tucked away on the outskirts of seaside resort Newquay, just a mile from the lively town centre, this townhouse offers a great getaway for large families or groups of friends alike, with plenty to keep everyone entertained.

Offering double, twin and bunk beds, there’s a variety of sleeping arrangements available across the eight modern bedrooms, sleeping up to 16 guests in total. Three sofa beds are also available to accommodate even more guests. For those seeking a little privacy, two of the bedrooms are tucked away in an attached annexe. The house also has four bathrooms, featuring both power showers and roll-top baths.

Over in the comfortable lounge, there’s plenty of sofas to kick back on, as well as a complete entertainment package including Sky TV, Netflix and a PS4. Treat yourselves to an extra-special movie night with the house’s very own cinema, which has a projector, extensive DVD library and even cinema-style seats – all you need is the popcorn. For the competitive, you can challenge your friends and family to a round of darts or pool over in the games room.

The townhouse also lends itself well to mealtime gatherings, with a dining room seating eighteen, as well as a small breakfast bar for more informal meals. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything from a cooker to a microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, while on sunny days you may prefer to have a barbecue and dine al fresco in the private patio garden. With picnic benches and a bubbling hot tub seating up to six, the garden is the perfect place to enjoy a get-together in the sunshine.

These include the Blue Reef Aquarium, Newquay Zoo and the long stretches of sandy beach – Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay are perhaps the best-known. Within the busy town centre, you’ll also find a variety of shops and places to eat, while Jamie Oliver’s renowned Fifteen restaurant can be found overlooking Watergate Bay.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY: Newquay is perhaps one of the UK’s best-loved surfing destinations, and several competitions are held here every year, including the Boardmasters. Its amazing waves also make it great for other water sports including kite surfing, windsurfing and jet-skiing. Its landscape is also excellent for coasteering – an exciting way to soak up the coastal scenery, while scuba diving is also an option. For something a little gentler, the South West Coast Path also passes through Newquay, allowing you to enjoy a coastal walk to nearby spots including Crantock, Mawgan Porth and Perranporth.

GETTING THERE: Nearest airport: Newquay (5 miles). Nearest rail station: Newquay (1 mile). The property is easily reached from both the A39 and the A30, major roads running through Cornwall.
