Located in the stunning Kent countryside, this large property is the perfect choice for celebrating special family occasions. With plenty of space and entertainment facilities, it's the perfect rural getaway.

Located in the village of East Farleigh and close to Maidstone, the county town of Kent that offers plenty of relaxation and family entertainment, with a good array of independent shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. The property is located in the heart of the Kent countryside ,offering a great place to enjoy a variety of countryside walks, cycling and horse riding along the nearby River Medway, and it's just a short drive from the Kent Life Museum. Nearby is Leeds Castle which hosts numerous events throughout the year including concerts, shows and exhibitions. Families will enjoy exploring the many castles, gardens and family attractions or a trip the nearby Kent coastline with its abundance of family-friendly beaches.

Step into the spacious hallway, which leads through to the light and airy lounge. Relax in front of the wood burner on the large comfy sofas and enjoy a film on the Smart TV/DVD or get the family together for a game of table football. Also leading off the main hallway is the contemporary kitchen/diner which is the perfect space to entertain. The dining table is ideal for large family meals. The kitchen is equipped with a range-style electric oven and hob, American-style fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, and a large breakfast bar, a sociable place to gather for morning coffee or to chat whilst dinner is prepared. A separate utility room is next to the kitchen and is equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer. After a relaxing family meal, retreat to the sun room which is just off the kitchen area and enjoy a refreshing glass of something whilst watching the sun set over the fields. The ground floor area is completed by two king-size bedrooms and a wet room with shower and WC. There is also a separate WC, and a cupboard with a large selection of books and games. Stairs from the hallway lead up to the first floor to four bedrooms: two king-size bedrooms with an en-suite shower and WC (one has a separate dressing room within), and finally two further twin bedrooms. The first floor is completed by a bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. Although there is increased access there are 5 very small wide steps up to the property.

Outside, relax on the patio with outdoor dining table and chairs (not available during winter months) and finish off the day with a family BBQ. There is waterfront access to the River Medway with private fishing rights for guests. There is private parking for three cars with additional parking available if required.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Overall we had a fantastic stay at Lower Gallands. The house is great and spacious, beautifully decorated and the surroundings are beautiful with horses grazing and the Medway river nearby.
