Dating back to the 1700’s, Lockerbie Estate is a grand Palladian mansion that can accommodate up to 41 guests across the main house and two cottages. The property is perfect for large groups, weddings, and family getaways in the beautiful area of Dumfries and Galloway, in southern Scotland.

Having undergone a complete refurbishment, Lockerbie Estate still retains its original character and charm, and benefits from modern touches. The Main House accommodates 33 guests across fourteen bedrooms, three with en-suites, and the bedrooms have a classic feel with period-style pieces. There is a mixture of bedroom layouts, ideal for families with young children or couples, and rooms can be configured if required. The large professional kitchen is perfect for cooking up a feast and guests can dine together in the main ballroom, large dining room, or black and white hall. If you don’t fancy cooking at all during your stay, there is the option to rent Lockerbie Estate fully serviced with staff. There is a PS4, Nintendo Wii, Scalextric, table tennis, pool table, and Sky TV for guests to enjoy during their stay.

Both cottages sleep an additional four guests each, and offer a double and a twin bedroom each, plus their own kitchen and living areas. There is also parking right outside the door for each cottage, ideal for guests who prefer a more independent stay.

Outside there are eleven acres of gardens to explore and outdoor enthusiasts will love the swings, trampoline and adventure course that can found in the grounds. There are five drives approaching the property, adding to the majestic ambience of Lockerbie Estate and there are plenty of picturesque spots for wedding photographs. Lockerbie Estate holds around 40 weddings annually and has its own wedding licence. There are rooms in the main house that are suitable for ceremonies for up to 100 guests, and there is a marquee complete with a bar and dance floor available for larger weddings.

Main House: Fully equipped commercial kitchen. There is a large dining room, ballroom and hall, all perfect for group dining and each can seat 41 guests comfortably. Please note there is the option to rent the property as self-catered or fully serviced with staff.

PLAY: Table football, table tennis and Scalextric. There is an outside adventure course, swings and a trampoline. Spa and beauty treatments can be arranged at an additional cost.

VENUE HIRE: Weddings welcome. Lockerbie Estate has a wedding licence, premises licence and bar licence. Up to 100 guests can be seated in the main house and up to 250 in the properties own marquee. The marquee has a large bar and large dancefloor. Please enquire for more details.
Corporate groups welcome and there are several rooms within the main house that can be used for meetings and a projector is available.

LOCAL AREA: Lockerbie Estate is situated a mile from the small town of Eaglesfield which has a few shops and a local pub. Located just 5 minutes off the M74, the location is ideal for those travelling north or south and the property is only 6 miles from historic Gretna Green.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY: Just a 15-minute drive down the road is the larger town of Annan. Lying on the east side of River Annan, the town has a vibrant high street with a range of local shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Annandale Distillery is a local distillery in Annan that produces single malt Scotch Whisky and guests can enjoy tours of the factory and tastings. There is also a coffee shop and gift shop.
