Close to the glorious Norfolk coast, this spacious holiday home nestles in the heart of the popular village of Brancaster and makes a fantastic base for a family keen to enjoy this beautiful region.

Located between the fascinating Scolt Head Island and Holme Dunes National Nature Reserves, Brancaster is a charming Norfolk coastal village with miles of unspoilt golden sands to enjoy. The family-friendly beach is perfect for kite surfing and kite-buggying, and, when the tide is out, you can even see the remains of an old shipwreck. You can take breath-taking walks along the Norfolk Coastal Path and visit charming towns and villages including Hunstanton, Wells-next-the-Sea and Blakeney Point where you can take a seal trip. RSPB Titchwell is also nearby. You will be ideally placed for visiting Sandringham, Cromer or Fakenham, and for exploring the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Norfolk Broads are also within easy reach.

On entering this large and welcoming holiday home, which enjoyed a complete interior transformation in 2016, you will find yourself in the light and tastefully furnished lounge. With plenty of comfy seating, TV/DVD and a traditional wood burner, this is an ideal space to relax in at the end of a lovely day. Heading into the attractively designed open-plan kitchen/diner, you will find a delightful dining area with space for eight guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with a double oven with large electric hob top, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and a breakfast bar with views out to the front garden. The washing machine and tumble dryer are housed in the nearby utility room which has plenty of storage space for hanging coats and leaving boots and shoes. There’s also a WC just off the utility room. Exploring the ground floor further, you will find a spacious super king size bedroom with an en-suite shower room with WC. Going upstairs to the first floor you will find four further cosy bedrooms. There’s a king size bedroom with plenty of storage space and an en-suite shower room complete with WC. There’s also a double, a comfy twin, and a children’s bedroom with two sets of bunk beds. There is also a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Stepping outside, you will find a delightful garden laid with a mixture of lawn and hard standing. There is plenty of garden furniture and a BBQ, allowing you to unwind and dine al fresco. Off-road parking is available for two or three cars.

This family friendly property is located on a quiet no-through lane just a stones throw from the village playing field with playground.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £100 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

Suited our three generations perfectly. Short walk to the beach. Pub/Resturant a few minutes walk away. Safe and secure gardens for children and dog. Bus stop nearby.

The cottage has been equipped to a very high standard and has everything you need.Great location for beach and surrounding area.The approach to the cottage is not very attractive and its a bit of struggle to park three cars .We had glorious weather and used the outdoor space a lot. The lounge is relatively small and I think our party size would finRead mored that challenging during a period bad weather. Hide

Fabulous park literally 2 mins walk which the owners should mention more as our children loved it and we also played a lot of tennis on the court there. Great location and a fab property we loved it.

Lovely cottage for two families. We had four children aged three and under and the house worked well for us. The enclosed garden was great as you can see it from all rooms downstairs - perfect for keeping an eye on the girls at all times. Perfect location, a great park only a couple of minutes walk away which also had a basketball court and footbalRead morel field. The closest beach was only a few minutes drive and flat with a long stretch of sand. Amazing fish and chips at Erics in Thornham. Hide

Fabulous well appointed house in a great location. 10-15 mins walk to beach, 5 min walk to lovely local pub. House was very clean, the well-equipped kitchen is perfect for a large family holiday. Lounge slightly on the small side for 8 adults and 4 children but we made it work. Really nice property. We stayed in the house with 6 adults two children and an infant and the house could not have been better proportioned. It was very clean and really well situated, the walk to the beach is lovely and took us about 25 mins with buggies and Nana in tow. You can't really get any closer to the beach as the lands leading up to the bRead moreeach are your typical Norfolk marsh type lands, but the paths are either wooden boards or good enough to get a city stroller down them. The bedrooms are all a decent size and the kids loved the bunk beds. The kitchen and lounge are perfect, though the internet had a few problems but this was probably caused by the awful weather and heavy usage it received. Overall it looked exactly as the pictures described and the letting agent even notified us that the property had received water damage that turned out to be insignificant and did not effect our stay in any way. Entry was easy and well organised. The only two things I could say to help future residents are (1) be careful of the tiny step going into the utility room from the kitchen I think we all either stubbed our toe are tripped on this and (2) the French windows are tricky to lock/unlock perhaps some WD40 would help. So in short almost perfect. Hide
