This delightful detached New England style house is just a short walk from the tranquil and sandy beaches of Priory Bay and Seagrove Bay where you can enjoy swimming, paddling, rock pooling or playing in the sand. This is a beautiful coastal area and the nearby coastal path can be followed to St Helens and onwards to Bembridge. The charming Edwardian resort of Seaview offers a choice of small shops and cafes. You can also walk along the seafront of Seaview into Ryde – a seaside resort with a variety of traditional seaside entertainments. Nearby places to visit include Havenstreet Steam Railway, Robin Hill Adventure Park and Osborne House - the island home of Queen Victoria.

On entering this tasteful and bright holiday cottage you will find yourself in an attractive entrance hall which opens into a spacious lounge, with comfy seating and TV. Exploring the ground floor further you will find a lovely delightful dining area, with patio doors opening on to the terrace, and you will find the kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and breakfast bar. There’s also a second charming lounge with comfy seating and TV/DVD. You will also find a cosy double bedroom with French doors opening into the garden and an en-suite shower room with WC, as well as a separate ground-floor WC. There is also a bathroom complete with a corner bath, separate shower and WC. A folding bed can be made available in one of the double bedrooms so that two children can sleep separately.

Stepping outside you will find a lovely fenced and gated garden at the rear of the cottage. Good location just on the outskirts of Seaview. Being able to walk down to the beach with young children and grandparents was a big bonus, even if it was uphill on the way back! Nice not to have to get in the car each time. Big bonus having a downstairs bedroom and bathroom for elderly mother and it was shut off from kitchen/dining area so nice andRead more quiet too. There were nice touches for young children too. Cutlery, cups and plates. Selection of toys and a good stair gate. Hide

The house is really well decorated and welcoming, and the added touch of birthday balloons was a lovely thought. The location is quiet but a few minutes drive to a number of attractions and amenities. The beds were very comfortable as was the house itself.

Iona was an "excellent fit" for our party. My granddaughter (2 years and 3 months) loved it, she still talks about "my holiday home!" An ideal base for 8 to enjoy a traditional British seaside holiday. A superb location.
