Located in the heart of Polruan’s conservation area, this delightful property has been stylishly renovated and furnished. Conveniently positioned to explore all this area of Cornwall has to offer.

Set in the traditional Cornish village of Polruan with its quayside and tidal beach, shop and pubs, this is an ideal spot to sit and watch the world go by. Take the regular passenger ferry across to Fowey, a bustling small port with many craft shops, galleries and restaurants. Head further afield and visit the National Trust's Lanhydrock, with Victorian house, woodland and riverside paths to explore, or Pencarrow House and Gardens. Take a trip at Bodmin and Wenford railway or spend a day on the water at Siblyback Lake and Country park with water sports, sailing, windsurfing and canoeing. For a touch of history, explore Daphne du Mauriers Smugglers Museum or the Museum of Witchcraft. There is something for everyone.

On entering the light and bright entrance hall of this stylish property, you will find storage for muddy boots and coats. The hallway leads through to the open plan kitchen/dining area and two ground floor bedrooms. Head into the well-equipped kitchen, the perfect space to cook and chat, complete with an electric range oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. The adjoining utility room houses the washer/dryer and leads to the family bathroom, with shower over the bath.The spacious dining area features a large dining table positioned under a glass roof lantern, which floods the room with light. French doors open out onto the patio area, making this a wonderful place to enjoy a meal together. Moving on to the spacious ground floor bedrooms, a twin and king-size, with en-suite shower room and WC, complete the accommodation on this floor. Head back to the entrance hall and take the curving stairs to the first floor. Here is the open plan living area with stunning river views from the large windows. Lounge on the comfortable leather sofas, cosy up in front of the wood burner on chilly evenings and watch a film on the Smart TV/DVD, choose from the extensive collection of DVDs, books and games, or just sit back and enjoy the ever-changing views over the water to Fowey. There are two bedrooms on this floor; a king-size, with French-style bed, and a charming twin featuring exposed beams, both served by a shared shower room with WC.

Heading outside, you will find a patio area with furniture, the perfect spot to enjoy a meal outdoors and take in the fabulous views over the river towards Fowey. In the long walled garden, with its lawns, palm and fruit trees, private shady and sunny spots can be found throughout the day.

Off season- Hill House will offer under occupy rates for smaller parties of 2 - 4 guests.
