A beautiful farmhouse in a wonderful rural location. Great walk's on your doorstep to the nearby village of Dent - along the river. Lots to see and do within an hours drive in both Yorkshire and the Lake District.

Fantastic location, beautiful views, and a very characterful farmhouse. Good facilities and well equipped. Excellent study should anyone need to work, and a nice bright conservatory.

The cottage overall had a lot of charm, was spacious and adequate for all our needs. it had interesting features inside which added to the rustic appeal. The views from the cottage were amazing, and it was in a very quiet, peaceful location. The road which leads from the cottage to Sedburgh or Dent, was narrow and twisty and had to be navigated witRead moreh caution! Hide

Lovely stay. Kind owners let us in early. Very nice old house with log fire and access to wood and coal. No child gate available as option for bottom of stairs, which were solid stone. Location remote which is nice but good walking is a drive away. Remember to take your own towels as not provided. Sky sports on TV which is very rare in holiday homeRead mores!! House was very nice!! Such a wonderful farmhouse, which soon warms up once you fire up all the heating. We had great fun experimenting with the AGA (a first time cooking on one for us), which created a really warm, cosy atmosphere throughout the house. Very comfy beds (and super-fast Wi-Fi) were an additional bonus. Brilliantly located too. Perfect for exploring both thRead moree Lakes and the Dales, as you prefer. A car is (obviously!) essential!
