On entering the property, guests will find plenty of space to relax after their journey, with the choice of two separate lounge areas: the first of these being a spacious room with two seating areas. To one end of the room, the original inglenook fireplace with warming woodburner, creates a focal point around which comfortable seating is gathered, whilst at the other end of the room, there is sofa seating, a freeview TV/DVD. The second lounge is a smaller cosy room, located in the annexe of the house, and offers a second freeview TV/DVD, and another woodburner. A dining room, with large table seating ten, provides the perfect place for sharing family meals and holding celebrations, and gives access through to the property’s kitchen. In this large room, there is a second, smaller, dining table, ideal for informal meals, or a quiet cup of tea in the morning, as well as all the equipment that guests will need to prepare their favourite dishes, including a double oven, 5 ring hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. A separate utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. The sun room, which overlooks the patio, has been set up as a fun games room, with a child-size pool table, table tennis table, and table football, a great place for teenagers to escape to. One bedroom, a double room, is also located on the ground floor, adjacent to which, guests will find a wet room with large walk-in shower and WC. Stairs from the dining room, bring guests to the first floor accommodation where there are four further bedrooms. The first of these is an attractive double room, which benefits from an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. A second double room with washbasin WC. The remaining two bedrooms are both comfortable twin rooms. All of the bedrooms have their own Freeview TV/DVD, allowing guests to enjoy a late night film, or relax in the morning whilst catching up with the news, or perhaps enjoy the children’s TV channels. There is also a family shower room with WC and a convenient separate WC.

We stayed for a week at Gracious Ford Farm in August as a family group - youngest aged 6 - and we all loved it. It is extremely spacious and well equipped and in the most beautiful peaceful location - a real escape! Thoughtful touches make staying here an absolute delight - our sincere thanks to the owners.

We found the holiday cottage to be ideal for all weathers. It was a short journey to the coast, but not too far. There was a well equipped sports room and garden toys for the children.

Gracious Ford Farm is a fabulous place and is beautifully decorated and furnished. The rooms are huge so you can all get together for a cozy evening or split up and do your own thing in one of the four reception rooms. The bedrooms are large, airy and comfortable. Great walking on your doorstep, and Exmoor is only a short drive away.
