Very well equipped and spacious property with lovely views over Lough Corrib. Perfectly situated to explore Connemara, Mayo and the rest of Galway. We had a lovely week there.

Lovely house with exceptional view. Only thing we would have changed is our length of stay to two weeks rather than one.

We LOVED Glenlusk! It was everything the brochure said, the views were stunning of course. As soon as we got there I poured a glass of wine and just stared! The house was gorgeous, we loved the style and the outside area with the firepit was wonderful. The fire pit was a great hit with everyone and when I unpacked my clothes they smelt of smoke, a Read morereally nice reminder. We went to Ryans on several occasions and they couldnt have been more helpful and their food (amazing burgers) and wine was lovely. Burkes was great as was Pat Cohens.Thank you for a lovely holiday. Glenlusk is a beautiful house, the photographs simply do not do it justice. It is very stylish, we are quite fussy and the house and its finish really impressed us. The kitchen is fantastic, it has everything a serious cook would want and this was well used throughout the holiday. The lounge has fabulous views over the loch, and the outdoor firepitRead more is a real occasion when the weather permits! A fantastic location for exploring. Clifden has great restaurants and boutique shops along with supermarkets. Ryans Deli in Cong is amazing, fantastic wine meat and fish with wonderful owners that help out with local knowledge. We did almost all of our shopping in this place. Ashford Castle has an amazing spa and good restaurants also. Our children loved swimming in the loch, even in the freezing temperatures! In summary, we had a fantastic 2 week holiday and would highly recommend the Lodge. Hide

We had a lovely time at Glenlusk Lodge, despite experiencing the Irish monsoon season! The house and facilities are great, with plenty of space for family members to gather together in the large sun room, dining room and kitchen, yet also enough rooms to spread out to do their own thing as required. Furnishings and decor are very tasteful, with verRead morey comfy beds. The kitchen is very well equipped. The main attraction is of course the beautiful view of the lake and mountains beyond, which is ever changing according to weather conditions. This can be enjoyed in all weathers, either from within the sun room or sitting/having meals outside on the terrace. Beautiful sandy and often deserted beaches approx 40mins drive, our favourite was Glassilaun beach. We can also recommend a boat trip on the fjord at Killary Harbour. All in all, a completely relaxing holiday. Hide

We stayed in Glenlusk for a long weekend in July 2016-it was our second visit having stayed there for 2 weeks the summer beforewe had such a lovely time we couldnt wait to get back! Glenlusk is a lovely holiday house, spotlessly clean with great views over the lake, so a very easy house to relax in, even in mixed Irish weather! On our first visit we spent time exploring Connemara, Galway & Westport but on this visit we headed the other direction to the Burren (an easy day trip from Glenlusk) and had a lovely time we really enjoyed stumbling upon the Burren Perfumery, a lovely afternoon out. The grounds of Ashford Castle are lovely for long walks on days we wanted to stay local.
