There are many attractions throughout this lovely area, with the Loch of Lintrathen (12 miles) and RSPB Loch of Kinnordy Nature Reserve (7 miles) both perfect for keen walkers and nature-lovers. The setting for Shakespeare's Macbeth and the childhood home of the Queen Mother, Glamis Castle with its stunning gardens (11.5 miles), is also nearby.
You will be ideally situated for visiting the popular market town of Forfar (9.5 miles) which has a variety of independent shops, restaurants and pubs, and is home to numerous attractions including the Meffan Museum and Art Gallery, Forfar Loch Country Park and the Pitmuies Gardens.
