This converted barn is one of three properties located on a 500 acre farm. Guests can enjoy the peaceful seclusion of their cottage, or visit numerous local attractions.

This luxury holiday cottage has been beautifully renovated and is perfectly situated for a holiday in the county. Guests can use the cottage as a base to see the attractions of North Devon or simply relax and enjoy rural life. Several local beaches are within a short driving distance and are ideal for either sunbathing or surfing. Take a cliff top walk and enjoy the beauty of the North Devon coast, or visit the nearby village of Hartland where you can find shops, traditional family pubs and a takeaway. Also in the local area, RHS Rosemoor, The Big Sheep and Hartland Abbey can be reached by car.

Retaining its original charm, this former barn features stonework and exposed beams throughout. The lounge has ample seating, a TV, DVD, and stereo, with heating provided by a wood burner (logs £5 a basket). The kitchen/diner is equipped with a stunning range oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is a utility room on the ground floor with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and WC. Also on the ground floor you will find one of the bedrooms: a spacious double. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, both with king-size beds and en-suite shower rooms with WC, plus two twin bedrooms. There is also a family sized bathroom with a WC. Please note that because of the rural location, the Wi-Fi signal in the property may be weak.

Outside the cottage, there is an enclosed garden with garden furniture and a BBQ. There is a fenced children’s play area with trampoline, plus a shared lawn area with football goal posts. Ample parking is available for guest’s cars.

Excellent spacious property ideal for family get togethers. A little isolated down narrow lanes but gives access to the wonderful north Devon coast.

House was lovely and outside space was great kept children happy. Road up to House was more a track and house us definitely in the middle of no where.

We have returned from a lovely Easter break at the Doctor old mill house. We had a lovely time. The house was exactly what we wanted, spacious, children friendly, plenty of outdoor and indoor space, great bedroom sizes and a few bathroom for the three families. Would def recommend to friends and family. The childrens play area is perfect!

The cottage was perfect for our group of two families with 5 children between us. The huge kitchen (where we could easily all sit down for a meal) and the en suite bathrooms in the main bedrooms were a huge plus. The children enjoyed the play area right next to the cottages and also enjoyed a short walk around the farm saying hello to the sheep on Read morethe way. Tons to do within a half an hours drive. A lovely, spacious cottage which was clean and homely. A super welcome package awaited us with some nice treats. The WiFi was very limited (so should not be relied on) and the heating wasnt working in one bedroom, but the cottage as a whole was warm using the heating. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment etc and the location was lovely - in Read morethe middle of nowhere but within easy driving distance of shops and the beach. Hide
