Offering great views, beautiful walks, an elegant balcony and a hot tub, this attractive and spacious property, close to the centre of the charming village of Westward Ho!, makes the perfect holiday home.

This lovely property is a short stroll from Westward Ho! which boasts a glorious two-mile sandy beach and unique pebble ridge which links to the Northam Burrows Country Park. You can visit numerous cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops, discover the famous South West Coast Path and enjoy exhilarating walks across the Burrows. There’s access to the Royal North Devon Golf Club where guests can enjoy the bar and restaurant too. The quaint fishing village of Appledore is nearby or you could investigate the charming market towns of Bideford and Ilfracombe a short drive away. Nearby are the famous sandy beaches of Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton Sands. The Big Sheep, The Milky Way Adventure Park and Lundy Island are all great days out.

On entering this elegant reverse-level accommodation, head up to the first floor where you will find the light and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which occupies the length of the building. The welcoming and snug lounge is the perfect space for relaxation, complete with Smart TV and DVD. Bi-folding doors open out onto the large furnished balcony, ideal for enjoying breakfast. The dining area is nicely situated, ideal whether you’re grabbing a snack or sitting down to a special meal. Heading over to the stylishly designed kitchen you will find everything you may need including electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Returning to the ground floor, you will find four comfortable bedrooms. There are two king-size rooms, each with TV and en-suite shower and WC, one twin zip-and-link (which can be made into a super-king-size on request) with TV and a bunk bedroom. There is also an attractive and cosy second lounge with Smart TV and DVD. You will also find a bathroom, complete with shower over the bath and WC, and with a cupboard for the washer/dryer.

Stepping outside, you can unwind at the end of a great day in the enclosed garden with patio, seating, BBQ and a relaxing hot tub. There’s also a beach hut for storing bikes, wet suits and sandy boots. Off-road parking is available for two cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

It's very rare that when you rent a holiday home everything was as perfect as Samphire House was for our family. Perfectly clean! Fantastically equipped (fab coffee), and beautifuly presented with lovely little touches. Best cottage we've had for a long time. High spec finish and very well equipped. Everything was perfect and Ann and John were really friendly and helpful. Plenty of room even for eight adults and Ted, the mad Sprocker!

A light, airy, modern house with bedrooms downstairs and living area upstairs. Felt spacious and the wide glass doors fully opening on to a large balcony helped with that. Clean, well-equipped and comfortable, this is a lovely property. Its about 15 minutes walk from a beautiful vast beach, which we enjoyed enormously every day. You can drive to thRead moree beach too but it costs 4 to take the car into the country park where the beach is. Possibly not too much to do if you dont get the weather! Hide

This was a 5 Star cottage, the owner had thought of everything, kitchen was very well equipped for all types of cooking. The location was excellent and area very quiet in the evenings. Great location for surfing and best tea rooms found in Westward Ho! Called Tea on the green, scones were amazing. We will definitely be visiting again.
