Cotswold Lodge

Cotswold Lodge is a Grade II listed, Arts and Crafts country manor house. A boutique-style hotel, it can be rented privately for an indulgent group getaway where guests can experience the very best service in a friendly atmosphere.

Built from warm, honey-coloured stone, so redolent of the Cotswolds, its elegant appearance will charm you from first sight. Set around a sweeping gravel driveway with a central fountain and planted beds, it’ll make you feel like royalty before you’ve even set foot inside.

Its seduction continues inside, where beautifully designed living spaces and sumptuous bedrooms offer an abundance of space for up to 16 guests.

Each of the eight en-suite bedrooms is impeccably designed and furnished, with tasteful pastel-toned colour schemes punctuated by a vibrant splash of lime green, fiery orange or blue here and there. Indulgent en-suite bathrooms add to the luxury, with free-standing slipper baths, twin sinks and rainfall showers just some of the outstanding features to look forward to.

When it comes to relaxation, Cotswold Lodge steps up to the mark. There’s no need to think about anything besides your own enjoyment, as your own personal chef cooks up gourmet dinners to be enjoyed in the elegant dining room, wine comes straight from the sommelier, and numerous relaxing spaces are yours to take advantage of. Snuggle into a bean bag in the comfort of the cinema room, have a sunset BBQ on the terrace or head for Cotswold Lodge’s sister hotel for a spa day including access to a hot tub and swimming pool.

Outside, Cotswold Lodge is surrounded by 400 acres of woodland, lakes and footpaths, perfect for a stroll to try and spot some of the estate’s wildlife including owls, rabbits, deer and foxes.

In the evenings, sink into the sofas in front of the roaring fire, or sip cocktails on the terrace on a balmy summer’s night.

SLEEPS 16: 8 en-suite bedrooms. 2 with king-size 4-poster beds, 5 with king-size beds, and one with zip and link beds offering the flexibility of a double or twin room to suit your needs. All bedrooms have air conditioning.

ADDITIONAL BEDS: Baby cots can be provided by prior arrangement.

COOK + DINE: Meals are prepared by your own personal chef and a pantry full of snacks and treats is available to access throughout the day. You can choose to dine anytime, anywhere, including the lounge, terrace, dining room, bar, cinema room or your own bedroom. High chairs can be provided by prior arrangement.

RELAX: Comfortable lounge with an open fire, plenty of sofas and views over the Cotswold countryside. Each bedroom has comfortable seating, so guests can relax in private. On sunny days, sit out on the terrace where you can stay until evening to watch the sunset. Slump into the beanbags and comfortable seating in the cinema room or head off to the spa at Cotswold Lodge’s sister hotel for a spot of pampering.

BATHE: All 8 bedrooms are en-suite. All have roll-top or free-standing baths, walk-in showers and Temple Spa products. One bedroom suite has twin free-standing, in-room baths with countryside views.

OUTSIDE: Large sunset terrace with garden furniture. Attractive garden and access to the rest of the 400-acre estate with woodland, lakes and footpaths to explore.

TECH: Cinema room with huge TV, DVD, Blu-ray, Netflix and Playstation4.

PLAY: Playstation4, board games.

PETS: Dogs over 1-year-old are welcome - £30 per dog per day.

VENUE HIRE: Cotswold Lodge is available to hire for weddings and corporate events. 

Weddings: A romantic and atmospheric location for the perfect big day, wedding packages at Cotswold Lodge are tailor-made. Weddings include exclusive use from 3pm on the day of arrival until noon on the day of departure, reception drinks and canapés, 3-course wedding breakfast, half a bottle of wine per person, a glass of house Champagne for the toast, evening snacks, complimentary drinks from the drinks station, a credit towards wedding flowers, menu cards, full use of the spa at the sister hotel, dedicated host and chef, private parking. Sunday to Thursday -  £7,500 per night based on 16 guests. Weekend (Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday) - £12,500 based on 16 guests. Additional day guests are charged at £180 per person without accommodation. Alternative accommodation at sister hotel can be arranged. 

Corporate events: Large ballroom which can accommodate up to 70 guests (theatre style). Comfortable lounge for relaxed meetings. Cinema room for presentations. LOCAL AREA: Cotswold Lodge is set within its own small grounds in a 400-acre woodland estate, just a short stroll from the pretty village of Broadway. Take a walk through the estate to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the woodland and lakes, or head out to enjoy the many delights of the Cotswolds.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY: The Cotswolds is a beautiful region to explore, peppered with many family-friendly attractions and quaint towns and villages. Some of the best attractions in the area include Broadway Tower (a short walk away), Burford Garden Company (20.3 miles) and the Cotswolds Distillery (15.9 miles) where you can enjoy a gin tour. The nearby town of Evesham (8.5 miles) has an art deco cinema, perfect if you need to escape the rain one day. In Stratford-upon-Avon (14.1 miles) you can take a leisurely boat trip down the Avon and take in the laid-back atmosphere of this historical town, the birthplace of William Shakespeare.
