  • Spacious house set in 550 acres
  • Panoramic views of the Firth of Forth from the balcony
  • Private access to a sweeping, sandy beach
  • Indulge in luxury treatments at the estate’s on-site spa
  • Enjoy a round of golf on the two on-site championship golf courses

Beautifully positioned among fragrant Scots pines on the northern shores of East Lothian, this delightful upside-down house has been designed to offer breathtaking views at every turn. Sleeping eight guests in four bedrooms, the property is located on a private, gated 28-acre waterfront estate. This means that as well as enjoying private access to a sandy beach, it also benefits from an on-site spa, restaurant and two championship 18-hole golf courses. And because the estate is spread out across 550 acres of manicured grounds, a complimentary concierge service is available to drive guests from place to place.

The vast open-plan living area upstairs is the highlight of the house and a great space to gather together with a wee dram of whisky and soak up the views. Overlooking the Firth of the Forth, you can either light the wood burner and settle into one of the deep, sumptuous sofas to admire the scene or fling open the French doors, breathe in the fresh sea air and recline on the sweeping balcony.  A well-equipped kitchen offers everything your party could need to prepare dinner which can be enjoyed at the dining table beside the warmth of the fire, comfortably seating ten guests. Of course, if you prefer, the estate can arrange a chef to cook for you or you can indulge in a delicious supper in the Clubhouse restaurant and bar - there is a heavenly mix of healthy and decadent dishes available including prime Scottish steaks and fresh seafood and salmon. Downstairs there are four spacious en-suite bedrooms where you can drift into a deep slumber and dream about your next day’s adventures. When you wake, why not head to the estate’s luxury on-site spa where you’ll be treated to a soothing lavender-infused sauna, steam rooms, bath and mud huts, a log cabin-like relaxation area and holistic therapies based around various organic essential oils. And on top of that, there are also acres of stunning grounds to enjoy. Peaceful walks will take you through the woodland and along the sandy beach which you have private access to, just steps away from the house.
