The apartments of Château Normand are located in a gorgeous castle, dating back to the seventeenth century and, according to the archives, it was built in 1664 for the Turgot family. Its central body was destroyed around 1860 but the castle’s imposing towers remain.
One stunning tower houses four apartments, offering guests the chance to experience the unique style and historical architecture of the castle. Each apartment contains three twin bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room. The four apartments in this tower sleep 24 guests in bedrooms and an additional 6 guests can be accommodated on double sofa beds in three of the living rooms. All the apartments can be connected, should you want exclusive use of the castle.
Within another tower is a stunning duplex apartment for 12, with six bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a spacious and stylish lounge. The walls are adorned with urban art, and edgy design elements make it a unique choice for guests who like something a little different. The kitchen is well-equipped and perfect for catering for cosy evenings in.
Accommodating a grand total of 36 guests (plus 6 on sofa beds) the castle is a wonderful fairytale setting for a large group holiday with family and friends.
The building was built with Caen limestone and the interiors are contemporary and stylish, yet compliment many original features.
