The convenient location of the property means you're within easy reach of the star attractions of Arran. Just 2.5 miles away, you'll find the much-loved Brodick Castle, Garden and Country Park. Here there are formal gardens to stroll through, stunning woodland walks and impressive waterfalls, not to mention the magnificent house itself as well as the thrilling Isle Be Wild adventure play park for the younger ones to enjoy.
If you're looking for more challenging walks, then why not traverse the Arran Coastal Way for some picturesque views and stop off at the villages for a bite to eat? Alternatively you can take on the snow-speckled peaks of Goatfell, the highest point on the Isle of Arran. Other active adventures include the Arran Outdoor Centre which offers activities ranging from sailing and gorge walking to mountain biking and hiking.
On the other side of the island, but still only 12 miles away, you can find the Machrie Moor Standing Stones. This Neolithic ceremonial site is a fascinating place considering its ancient history. There are several lovely routes over the moors which cover a few of these curious stone circles.
To see some wildlife, head down to Kildonan 11 miles away. This lovely sandy beach is the ideal location for a seaside picnic while looking out to see the seals and otters by the shore or basking on the rocks.
