The house is brimming with history dating back to 1790, as evidenced by antique artwork, a sweeping staircase and traditional-style furniture. Each room has its own charm, although bright decor and grand details such as archways, ornate cornicing and elegant fireplaces feature throughout. Dine like kings in the kitchen, which has a delightful contemporary twist and all the gadgets you could possibly need to cook up a storm. The dining room is an elegant masterpiece for toasting champagne and enjoying delicious local fare, made all the more atmospheric by a crackling open fire. Retreat to the library for a post dinner drink, or gather the family to watch a film in your very own cinema room. The majority of the bedrooms are en-suite, spread between the first and second floor. The weary traveller will be spoilt for choice of where to rest their head, as each room is irresistibly comfortable. Families with children will find the layout of the bedrooms very useful, particularly the twin bedroom with a shared en-suite and the family bedroom on the first floor; and a twin and double bedroom that share a dual access en-suite on the second floor.
