Detached chapel with stylish interior, on the Llyn Peninsula, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Stay at this special property to relax, experience the culture and explore the coast and countryside.

This stunningly refurbished 19th-century detached chapel sets the perfect scene for your group getaway, with the Hell's Mouth beach on your doorstep. Sleeping ten in five bedrooms and with large open-plan living, there is room for everyone. Unwind at the end of a busy day in the private hot tub or drink in the far-reaching countryside views from the balcony. The property lies within North Wales' Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so the rural views from every room are a breathtaking sight.

Whether you are here to rest or play, you will feel immediately at home. Let the underfloor heating warm your feet as you explore the property, admiring the original features of the former chapel, originally built in 1874. The owner empathetically and tastefully refurbished the home in 2017 with exposed beams, high ceilings and custom-made furniture, making it truly one-of-a-kind. Head up the bespoke concrete, wood and glass staircase into the lounge/kitchen/diner, which stretches to the apex of the roof and is flooded with natural light thanks to skylights. It's a space you will love to entertain in, with a contemporary hand-crafted kitchen with everything you need – plus a few thoughtful little extras – to cater for your friends and family. Enjoy the striking rural views as you dine together, throwing open the doors to the balcony on a warm evening and let the gentle sea air in. Relax on the comfortable sofas, firing up the wood burner to take off the chill in cooler months for a film or games night, or sink into the hot tub on the patio and catch-up with loved ones. Outside there is also a portable BBQ and seating area – great for a garden party – and a large raised lawn, plus plenty of space to store bicycles and a canoe, and ample off-road parking. Sleep easy in one of the spacious bedrooms, which have all been decorated with their own individual style. Whether you opt for soft, muted tones or bright and bold style, all rooms boast lovely views, creative furnishings, and indulgent linen.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

  • 5 bedrooms – 1 super-king-size zip-and-link with additional single bed, 3 king-size doubles and 1 single

Explore both coast and country from your holiday home, with Botwnnog (2.5 miles), National Trust's Plas Y Rhiw (1.5 miles), and Porth Neigwl beach (4 miles) all close by. Abersoch is just a 3.5-mile drive or walk away, where you can enjoy its bistro culture, boutique shops, and array of local events, including the infamous New Year's Day Dip. There is also a sheltered harbour here, with the Llyn Peninsula known for its sailing waters, while thrill-seekers should head 9 miles to Pwllheli for its excellent water sports, including windsurfing, canoeing and paddleboarding.

This was an ideal base for a family group. We were all really comfortable and enjoyed the large open living/dining area with its comfortable seating. We loved the location which was really quiet, but close to Abersoch and beaches etc.

This is a fabulous property with really comfy beds and great space. We cooked most of our own meals rather than eating out, not any where within walking distance for dining out. Storage space in the kitchen for food is all low level. A great hot tub and a short drive to great beaches. A very helpful and welcoming owner.
