Escape to an award-winning luxury house with its own private beach on Loch Long in stunning Argyll

Just an hour from Glasgow is this stunning architectural award-winning beach house. With a fabulous waterfront location, stylish interior and decked terrace with cedar hot tub, this James Bond-style property guarantees memorable getaways for friends or family. Sleeping eight guests across five bedrooms, the accommodation is chic and minimalist with an extensive use of glass to maximise those jaw-dropping views across Loch Long. If you can tear yourselves away, charter a sailing boat from the property’s jetty, wander to the local pub or play a round of golf in Loch Lomond before returning for an evening swim from your private pebble beach.

Contemporary and elegant throughout, the accommodation has been designed to take full advantage of this spectacular setting. Prepare delicious meals in the modern kitchen area, which sits at one end of the wonderful open-plan living space before dining at the large table, which has full-length windows on two sides. Watch the weather move across the sea from the comfort of the large L-shaped sofa in the lounge area beyond, while the woodburner roars away nearby. Perfect for entertaining, this space has been equipped with a range of entertainment facilities, including an Apple TV, PlayStation, Sonos sound system. Climate control and underfloor heating throughout the main living area and bathrooms, this is a fantastic property for year-round getaways. Oak floors and chic minimalist decor make the bedrooms calm and relaxing, one of which opens onto a terrace with steps down to the shoreline. Adjacent to the main house is The Look Out, which offers additional accommodation. The teak decked terrace is the place to be on summer evenings, with a huge table, fireplace, BBQ and cedar hot tub with jaw-dropping views.

Fantastic location with probably the best views in Scotland. It was very comfortable and warm even in terrible February weather. Having the lovely Knockderry Hotel so close was an added bonus.
