Indulge in the holiday home of your dreams when you stay at this magnificent property for 12 in a quiet hamlet in the heart of the beautiful North Devon countryside. Some 2 miles from Buckland Brewer, the beautiful barn conversion has six bedrooms and six bathrooms, as well as underfloor heating throughout, substantial gardens and splendid rural views. Relax with your friends and family in the barn’s light-filled interior or play together in the games shed. Go on long walks or cycle rides through your verdant surroundings or head out for fun-filled excursions to the beach or local towns and villages.

Step into the bright hall and find a warm welcome within this attractive barn conversion. Wander on through into the light-filled lounge, which has a vaulted ceiling. Settle down in front of a film, play a game of charades together or relax with a good book. Open the French doors on the patio to allow the fresh air in on warm days and wander out into the garden on balmy evenings. From the lounge, take a few steps up into the light-filled, modern kitchen, which also has a vaulted ceiling and enjoys bi-folding doors along one wall. Prepare meals for everyone in here then gather round the long table to enjoy them together. Find you also have a useful utility room and a separate WC on the ground floor, as well as three of your bedrooms, all of which benefit from en-suite shower or wet rooms. Make your way up to the first floor to your other three bedrooms, which all also have en-suite wet rooms or bathrooms. When it comes to outdoor relaxation, choose between two patios. Dine outside whenever the weather permits; light the BBQ on warm days and spend long summer evenings around the fire pit. Play games with the children on the large lawn or send them off to the games shed for a table football match. There is off-road parking for three cars at the house. Additional parking for another two cars may be arranged with the owners.

Spend time in the charming fishing village of Appledore, 10.5 miles away, with its pretty cottages and ferry in the high season over to Instow. Visit Clovelly, 10 miles away, which is set on the side of a cliff and famed for its donkeys.

This was our annual get together with friends. The house suited all our needs and was warm and cosy. We enjoyed sitting around the large table eating and drinking .
