An extraordinary castle, surrounded by a moat and set within the beautiful Staffordshire countryside, Blythe House provides unique and impressive accommodation for a special group holiday.

A stunning array of antique furniture and decorative items are on display in each room, from the dark wood panelling and detailed carved friezes adorning the walls of the grand living room, to a suit of armour, chandeliers and richly carved four-poster bed. While the castle’s history has been respectfully preserved in the décor, there are contemporary touches and comforts aplenty, with modern en-suite bathrooms, luxurious bed linen and large TV with DVD and SkyTV.

Sleeping 22 guests across 11 opulent en-suite bedrooms, Blythe House provides a stunning backdrop for a family celebration or unforgettable holiday with friends. A mixture of king-size, super king-size and double beds are found in the handsomely decorated bedrooms, some of which are elegant four-posters. Wood panelling, bare stone walls, lavish wallpaper and antique furniture are just some of the design features you can expect.

The castle is perfectly suited to entertaining, with a vast dining room seating 22 and an elegant ‘white room’ complete with chandeliers, ceiling friezes and an intricate parquet floor which can seat up to 36 (chairs and tables provided). The large catering kitchen allows guests or professional caterers to prepare extravagant meals to live up to the grandeur of the castle.

The living room is spacious and warm, with comfortable leather sofas, open fire and TV. The drawing room offers yet more space to relax. Enjoy playing pool and snooker on your evenings in or make the most of balmy summer nights with drinks up on the roof terrace, watching the setting sun drench the surrounding countryside in gold as it sinks below the castle walls. The castle courtyard with outdoor seating offers a unique setting for a BBQ.
