Situated in the traditional Dorset seaside village of Charmouth, this gated holiday complex offers a selection of well thought out, purpose-built accommodation within these converted former farm buildings. With onsite leisure facilities for all ages, the property is also conveniently located just a short stroll from the village amenities and Charmouth beach. Also nearby is the wonderful town of Lyme Regis, with its fossil-rich beach and historic Cobb, a beautiful unspoilt seafront with sheltered south-facing beaches and traditional deckchairs that line the promenade in the summer. The Jurassic coastline has been designated as England's first Natural World Heritage Site and spans nearly one hundred miles of the Dorset and East Devon coastline. There are many attractions in the area including the charming resorts of Beer, Branscombe, Crealy Adventure Park and numerous National Trust properties and gardens to name but a few.
Stepping inside the property, you can prepare meals in the spacious kitchen, which has been well-equipped with an integrated oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Once prepared, enjoy sociable meals together in the dining area, which features oak flooring and is open-plan to the lounge beyond. With French doors opening onto the patio, this room is light and bright with three comfortable sofas and a TV/DVD for cosy nights in. There are five bedrooms, firstly on the ground floor is a twin bedroom, which can be made up as a super-king-size bed on request. Also on the ground floor is a separate wet room style shower room with WC and a further separate WC. Heading upstairs to the first floor there are four more bedrooms, a king-size bedroom benefits from a TV and en-suite shower room, while a further king-size and two twin bedrooms share a bathroom with overhead shower.
Outside, there is a private enclosed patio area with outdoor furniture for enjoying al fresco meals together. Guests are invited to enjoy the neighbouring holiday park which includes a shared, covered outdoor heated swimming pool (available during specific dates only and not available all year, please refer to the 'need to know' section for details), Char Valley Café which serves speciality teas and coffees and a shared outdoor children's play area. For a reduced charge and available to adults, is the well-equipped Char Valley Health Club, including a gym, indoor pool, sauna and steam room.
Due to the current situation with Covid-19 the shared facilities (swimming pool, Health Club, Cafe, children’s play area) at this property will be unavailable during the remainder of 2020 and a 10% discount will be applied at the time of booking.
