Gather your nearest and dearest for a holiday to remember in this stunning cottage. With five bedrooms, a large kitchen and wonderful outside terrace it can accommodate up to ten guests.

Located on the brink of the Hartland Moor National Nature Reserve, this charming property is the ideal base for a break on the UK's glorious south coast. Get the extended family together for a celebration or a catch up, enjoying a house that comfortably sleeps ten and is a short drive away from the beach.

Relax in privacy at this secluded rural location. This detached 19th-century cottage maintains charming traditional elements such as exposed beams and diamond grid windows. It has, however, been thoroughly modernised, including a remarkable state-of-the-art kitchen which is bound to make cooking for ten an absolute doddle. Open up the bi-fold doors to truly let the outside in and feel the breeze encompass the open-plan kitchen/dining area in the summer months. The living room is a large room with an abundance of seating options, and whilst you do have a Smart TV on offer, we recommend grabbing one of the many board games and embarking on some friendly competition. Upstairs, you'll find five spacious bedrooms, all of which offer garden views that you'll look forward to waking up to every morning. Kids can make themselves at home in the twin room, single room and triple room, perfect for little sleepovers. Two double bedrooms finish this property off, one of which has the added luxury of a TV. Surrounding the property is a fenced garden that's ideal for letting kids run off some steam. Make use of the charcoal BBQ and outdoor furniture before your holiday comes to an end.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £200 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

  • 5 bedrooms - 2 doubles, 1 triple, 1 twin and 1 single

The local area is awash with things to do for visitors of all ages. Right on your doorstep lies the RSPB Arne Nature Reserve, where you'll find a wide range of birds, woodland, flowers and even six species of native British reptiles, perfect for eagle-eyed kids to look out for! You'll also find Shipstal Beach 13 miles away, where the sandy shore meets Dorset's bright blue coastline. For more turquoise waters, head to the glorious Blue Pool, just 5 miles from the property. Deer wander the woodland around this remarkable pool, and it makes for a wonderful day out. Animal lovers will rejoice further when they get the chance to visit the nearby Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre (12 miles), which features a 65-acre park and Europe's only orangutan creche! To round off a day of the great outdoors, head to the nearest town of Wareham (4 miles) where you'll find a host of independent eateries and family-friendly pubs.

We had a lovely time, the location was perfect for walking and the variation of actives, the cottage was beautiful and the dynamics of the layout was spot on for our group. The kitchen was the real focal point to cook and sit around and chat, the ovens were a really good size and the kitchen was very practically laid out! The cottage was very cleanRead more. Hide

Fabulous location . Nice house needs a few maintenance jobs . If you are booking wanting to use the open fire...especially at Christmas....this will not be possible! This is not stated in the description and an open fire with guard etc is clearly shown on property photos!

Lovely big kitchen/diner. We were a group of 6 friends and the house worked brilliantly for us. The house really is in the middle of nowhere so its lovely and quiet. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Good location, plenty of off street parking, great garden for alfresco meals. The cottage delivers on all levels.

Useful little extras included. Shame towels aren't. A lovely garden. Good cottage. Liked the fact that 2 of the bedrooms were away from the others, like having as separate wing in the house.

Great property which suited our party, of 8 adults and 2 children, perfectly for a family birthday get together. A well equipped kitchen made catering for 10 a stress free experience! There was also the added bonus of Arne RSPB Reserve being so close.

Lovely cottage, just what we were after. Very comfortable & matched the photos perfectly. Great sound system & smart tv. A few welcoming essentials (tea, milk & loo roll) were supplied for arrival. Close to the beach. Overall a really lovely place to stay.

We got the impression that the cottage was near the sea, but we were quite a drive to the beaches. Its very good if you are interested in birds though, as we were within walking distance for the RSPB at Arne

Overall this was a lovey cottage in pleasant surroundings and ideal for a large family. There was a good outdoor garden which was safe for small children and games. The induction hob in the kitchen was a bit challenging to start with, but fine once we had sorted pan size to plates.
