Explore the Isle of Arran’s natural beauty and enjoy its many attractions from this substantial period home near Ormidale Park in Brodick. Up to 12 of you can spread out and have fun together in the generous space offered both inside and out at the imposing five-bedroom house. Originally a clergyman’s home, the handsome property has been beautifully renovated and is well-positioned for access to Brodick’s amenities, as well as getting across the island.

Enjoy the warm ambience of the attractive home from the moment you step inside. You’ll find the bright, contemporary, open-plan kitchen/dining room quickly becomes the heart of the home during your stay. Brodick is a thriving village and the main landing place on the Isle of Arran. This makes it ideal for families and groups of friends who want to get away from busy life while still staying within easy reach of amenities, all within attractive surroundings. There are plenty of shops and restaurants on the village's main road, but there's also an 18-hole golf course less than 150 metres away and the Fisherman's Walk coastal path that offers views of the rugged landscape. Brodick Castle (2.5 miles) houses a glorious collection of furniture, some of which dates back to the 17th century, and the garden that the Duchess of Montrose created in 1923 has been restored to offer beautiful views of the island. Find out about the history of the island at the Arran Heritage Museum which is just over half a mile away.

There are some superb beaches on the Isle of Arran; Whiting Bay (8.5 miles) has a mile-long stretch of sand with a shallow bay that's ideal for beachcombing and paddling, and you can walk 2 miles along the coast to Kingscross. Closer to home, Lamlash Bay (4 miles) is a natural harbour and you can sit in the nearby pub with al fresco drink and watch the boats bob to and fro.

A lovely well equiped house, with large gardens and privacy. Very handy for Brodick and the shops, while being away from the main village and road. Great to stay at a house which sleeps 12 and has the kitchen and dinning facilities to accomadate that number of guests. The combined kitchen diner with the large table was the hub for the whole group tRead moreo meet up at breakfast to plan the day and in the evening for dinner. And Arran is such a fabulous island to visit, really is Scotland on one island. Hide
