Great house in a central location. Garden areas a little tired and rubble lying around. Derelict shed would be a great secure storage area for bikes etc.

Arandel is a very nice, spacious house. Very clean. We particularly liked the kitchen/diner with the big table - plenty of space to seat everyone comfortably. The location is ideal. It's only a minute's walk from one of the two supermarkets in Brodick, but because it is tucked behind another house, it is off the main street and very quiet. The BIG Read morepark which is just outside the house is great for kids to run around and play football. Plus, it's only 2 minutes away from the beach by foot. Everybody had a great time and I can't think of a single thing that I would change. We took a car over on the ferry, but everything is so close by that a car isn't really necessary. The bus stop is very close. Hide

Spacious, well maintained and well positioned. Clean and well equipped. This was a great house to be in with lots of young kids. Eight of us including two children stayed for a week. The property is a great size and could have easily taken another four. The location is excellent, close to the shops, the beach and within walking distance of the castle and gardens. We did feel that the property is starting to need a bit of TLC especially the boiler. That aside, we wouldn't hesRead moreitate to recommend it. For good family meals with entertainment thrown in, we recommend Fiddlers - just five minutes away. Hide
