This lovingly renovated Victorian property situated in the heart of the quaint seaside village of Appledore. With beaches and attractions all within easy reach this is the perfect family getaway.

The pretty detached villa is situated in a central yet quiet part of the village just wandering distance of the quaint cobbled streets, many cafes and independent shops on offer. Sat in an elevated position, enjoy the views over Appledore and the estuary, where the two rivers meet. Enjoy a drink or a meal in one of the local pubs or restaurants or admire the views across to Instow, you can even take the ferry across during the summer months. In the area, there are stunning walks along the costal path or the famous Tarka Trail. For days out there are many beaches including the miles of golden sands at Westward Ho! and Woolacombe as well as family attractions.

Arriving at the rear of the property, approaching in through the spacious pretty garden into the entrance hall. You are welcomed by the large open-plan kitchen/diner, the kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, the dining area, catering for the whole family, with views out into the garden and picture perfect armchairs framing the wood burner. With two reception rooms, one with seating for everyone, smart TV and a cosy wood burner and a snug room with smart TV for quieter moments, both with stunning original features such as high ceilings and window shutters. Also on the ground floor is a separate WC. Going up the impressive turning staircase with feature stained glass window are the bedrooms, all with smart TVs. At the front of the house you will find one king-size bedroom overlooking the village and out to the estuary and a twin bedroom enjoying the same outlook. Bathroom with freestanding bath, separate shower and WC, there is also a separate WC. At the rear of the property, overlooking the garden, with its own en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC, then stepping down into the king-size bedroom. Also overlooking the enclosed garden is a further twin bedroom.

Going outside you will find the utilty room housing the washing machine and tumble dryer and providing storage space for bikes. A raised patio area provides the ideal spot to relax whilst sat in the pretty garden or take a soak in the hot tub. The parking area is found at the top of the garden with space for four cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Perfect retreat for our family holiday (5 adults and a dog). The house was immaculately presented and well equipped. Very spacious and comfortable and the hot tub was an added bonus. Close to all local amenities and well placed for exploring North Devon. Would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

The Grange was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and enough sofas and chairs for everyone to sit in comfort. As a dog owner, I always worry that an 'enclosed garden' will not necessarily be secure, but here the garden was perfect for our 3 dogs to run around in. Amazing house. We stayed with our two large dogs and the garden is super secure. House has everything you could need and is warm, cosy and has luxury furnishings. Beds very comfy, bathrooms high spec, no shortage of hot water! We stayed when Storm Callum hit and there was a problem with the fence, the owner plus team had it fixed within two hours..Read more..fabulous service. This property is in a fabulous location and includes a wonderful enclosed garden, very useful if you have your dog with you. The facilities are excellent and we absolutely loved Appledore. The people are so friendly, it is reminiscent of Old England, truly a brilliant place for a holiday.

The property is superb with a completely safe and enclosed garden. 5 min walk down to harbour and an easy trip to get to Instow by car or ferry. A really lovely and fully equipped property. Will definitely go again.
