This light and airy barn is set on a working farm in the picturesque Afon Crai valley, with enviable national park views. Perfect for families or couples.

Discover the peace and quiet of the Brecon Beacons with a stay in this rural farmhouse, a delightful property with stunning landscapes and endless countryside surrounding you. The perfect base for a family reunion or long awaited get together with friends, this charming holiday home has been well equipped to host eight guests and one beloved canine companion. Optional pull-out single beds in one of the twin bedrooms increases the maximum guest count to 10 which is perfect for families with lots of small children. Younger visitors will adore meeting the Shetland sheep and Angora goats on the hosts’ working farm, with the owners on hand to help out when you need and advice on the very best of the local area.

Bright and cheerful throughout with floor-to-ceiling windows and vaulted ceilings with skylights, this property will be a joy to wake up to each and every morning. Head on in to find a grand open-plan living space with kitchen, dining room and lounge where all the guests can socialise together. Lively evening meals or nourishing breakfasts will no doubt be enjoyed at the dining table, and the spacious and well-equipped kitchen ensures feeding 10 hungry mouths isn’t too big of a task. Along with the lounge with inviting sofas and Smart TV, the sunroom is a fantastic place to unwind. Throw open the French doors and take in that magnificent Brecon Beacons view. In good weather you’ll no doubt want to make the most of this outdoor space. Find an enclosed garden space with furniture for al fresco evenings. And, as day turns to night, four bedrooms beckon across two storeys. Vaulted ceilings restrict the head height in some rooms, but each chamber is equally cosy and inviting. A genuinely rural location, the nearest shop and pub can be found 5 miles away in the village of Sennybridge. A pretty spot with the River Usk running through, this village is your best bet for collecting amenities and enjoying a swift pint. The nearest town of Brecon is a little further away (13 miles) and is a must-visit location for a day out. Explore the museum and art gallery, historic cathedral or take a walk along the Breconshire and Monmouth Canal. Those eager to explore the area on foot can simply set out and enjoy the national park’s many stunning walking routes - the Pen y Fan is just 14.5 miles away and offers remarkable views from its summit. Finally, visitors with children should definitely pencil in a trip to the ever-popular National Showcaves Centre for Wales (8 miles).

Beautiful cottage, completed to a very high standard. Contains everything needed for a relaxing break away! Idyllic, peaceful location in the middle of the countryside. Lots of beautiful walks and attractions nearby, and only an hour away from Cardiff. The owners were wonderful, great communication beforehand and were there to great us at arrival. Had a great week staying here in the barn. We couldnt fault it. The views are incredible and the barn is just amazing - we didnt want to leave. The light coming into it on a sunny day is the best through the glass in the roof. We did Pen Y Fan, the four waterfalls walk, Llyn Y Fan Fach and Carreg Cennen castle. All within half hour drives. A great Read morelocation for a family holiday. We all come from a rural area in Berkshire and Cornwall but were still blown away by the countryside location. Hide

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully converted old barn. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and made sure that our grandchildren had plenty of opportunity to see the farm animals in a child-friendly way.

We had a lovely week at this beautiful property. It was super clean, well equipped and warm and welcoming after blustery days out! The owners were very friendly and kind too. Our kids loved helping to feed the sheep, goats and rabbits. I would highly recommend a break away from it all here!

We really enjoyed our stay at the farm. The barn conversion is done to a high standard, very spacious and equipped with everything you need. The owners are welcoming and very hospitable. My boys loved the farm and the animals, so did we... would recommend this place for relaxing get away.

Lovely converted barn with plenty of space for two families of four with teenagers. It was finished to a high standard, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of kitchen equipment so you never run out even when you have filled the dishwasher. The house is a recent barn conversion and has been done with care and attention, maintaining and enhancing original features. The result is an incredible holiday home, easily capable of accommodating our 3 generation family of 8 in style and comfort. The house has a real feeling of space and has everything you'd need in a holiday home. The owner (JRead moreulian) was welcoming and available when needed, without being intrusive. Beautiful house, no expense spared. Impressive cutlery draw, lovely towels and beds. A lovely base to come back to each day. Lovely couple who showed us round the farm and introduced us to all the animals. Our kids loved waking up each day to see which animals they could hear.

This is an absolutely stunning barn conversion, beautifully designed on an open plan with light pouring in from around and above. The cottage is fully equipped to a very high standard. Incredible cottage in a great location. Photos don't do justice to quite how big it is, or the views from the fire pit at the back! Lovely hosts and a very well equipped kitchen.

We had a fantastic time - the barn is really beautiful, spacious and well-kitted out. Lots of thoughtful detail - towels for dogs, stair gates etc. The view from the terrace was magical - sun with mist hanging in the valleys on the mornings we were there.
