A characterful old farmhouse steeped in history. This is an ideal location for your group gatherings, with an array of facilities available to make your stay a memorable one.
Tucked on the fringes of the New Forest National Park, this sublime farmhouse is steeped in history and brimming with traditional details. Boasting flagstone floors, original timber beams and exquisite fireplaces, you’d be forgiven for assuming you had stepped back in time. Sleeping 12 guests across seven gorgeous bedrooms, the property is lavishly equipped for hosting special celebrations and family gatherings, offering spacious socialising spots and a variety of entertainment options including a games room, lavish dining facilities, and a vast expanse of gardens to explore.
Beneath the pretty red bricks and climbing wisteria is an enchanting haven characterised by quirky doorways, inner hallways and a restored three-quarter-turn staircase. Crack open the bubbly and recline in the comfort of the lounge, toasting to a wonderful holiday while the fire crackles away and you admire the pretty stained glass window that adds an extra touch of elegance to this retreat. Cook up a storm in the handcrafted solid wood kitchen and feast in style in the formal dining room, which has enough seating for your entire party. Round off your evening with a round of pool, air hockey or table tennis in the games room, or let the younger generation take to the games console whilst the adults chatter over a nightcap in the courtyard. At bedtime, the sumptuous bedrooms are dotted throughout the three floors, four of which can be found on the ground floor along with a fabulous bathroom. Nestled within the eaves of the house is a loft snug and gaming area, which leads through to a cosy twin room with restricted head height. The remaining bedrooms have their own private en-suite bathroom or shower room on the first floor. Outside, the patio is ideal for evening drinks, and there are gardens and orchards to explore.
