Large cottage, plenty of space for the 10 of us. Different parts of the group could have independence or we could all sit around the large tables. Beautiful setting, lovely views, friendly owners. Well situated for the border towns and villages. We found something different each day satisfying a multi generational family.

We have rented many vacation properties. This was, by far, the only one that has made us feel like we had arrived home. The setting is spectacular, and the owners have taken care that all the needs of a vacationing family (3 adults, 3 young children) are met. The rooms /baths are spacious and well-appointed. We had a wonderful family holiday. The kitchen was a lovely space to cook, eat and play games around the table. We also enjoyed having a special meal together in the dining room. The kids livingroom went down a treat and they loved the cinema telly and recliner seats. The hot tub was also a hit.

We had a wonderful stay over New Year as a group of friends and our dogs. The house is beautiful and very grand, with amazing views from the hot tub over the rolling borders countryside. A great place to unwind. Angela was a very attentive host and was only ever a text away.

A wonderful house: warm, well equipped and spacious. The house was wonderfully decorated for Christmas and communication with the owners was great and made for a relaxing stay. The space was wonderful for two families of 4. There were great walks locally along with welcoming pubs and restaurants just a short drive away. Highly recommend.
