With tennis courts, a golf course, village shop and pub all within less than one mile, you'll find the property will suit everyone's needs. The local beach is a few minutes walk, as well as the Thurlestone Hotel, which offers a restaurant, bars and golf course to non-residents. Based in the popular area of the South Hams, there is much to do and see; the towns of Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth boast fantastic seafood restaurants and shopping, and there are also a wealth of trips and activitiesa stone's throw away including National Trust properties, Woodlands Adventure Park, and the historic Burgh Island, reached via the sea tractor when the tide is in.

This impressive property offers lots of space and benefits from sea views out of many of the windows. On the ground floor, you will find the kitchen, which is located just off the dining room and is well-equipped to cater for a group of people. It comprises of an electric double oven and hob, fridge/freezer, additional larder fridge, microwave and dishwasher.

 Just off the kitchen there is also a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, separate WC and access to the rear garden. The dining room has seating for ten people and a cushioned window seat overlooking the garden. In the lounge, you will find a TV/DVD, wood effect electric fire and far-reaching sea views. There is also a small sunroom with double doors leading on to the patio and an adult-size bunk bedroom, which is reached via the children’s playroom. This bunk bedroom has en-suite bathroom, shower over the bath and WC.. There is a door leading to the garden from this bathroom .

The other five bedrooms are located on the first floor and include one master bedroom with a super-king-size bed.  This room also has an en-suite bathroom with separate shower and WC. The other rooms consist of one double, one twin (which can be made into a super double on request) and two bedrooms with single beds that have a shared window and interconnecting wall. There is also a bathroom with shower over bath and separate WC on the first floor.

Outside there is a private enclosed garden and well-maintained lawn, patio, seating and BBQ. This is a lovely spot for enjoying the magnificent sea views, which make this property extra special.

The beautiful sandy beaches at Thurlestone are only half a mile away. Both are sheltered and the waters are shallow enough for children to splash around in. The property is 7 miles from the pretty coastal town of Salcombe, where you can have a go at water sports, cool off with an artisan ice-cream or browse the boutique shops. To the west of the town lies Bigbury-on-Sea (9 miles). From here, hop on the sea tractor that goes across the water to Burgh Island, famous for being one of Agatha Christie’s favourite retreats. For an action-packed day out, head to Woodlands Family Theme Park (13 miles). It has water rides, a zoo farm and indoor play areas.

Our second time at Warren House and it was perfect. Very comfortable and well equipped. It's in a perfect position for great coastal walks. A short stroll to the village pub and shop. We can't wait to return.

This is a great place for families - we were three generations with little ones. The location is excellent - you can walk to the nearest beach and there is lots of space in the house to spread out and a lovely sunny terrace which is flat and safe with fabulous views of the sea and Thurlestone rock. We had a lovely holiday and the house was well equipped for everything you needed to make your holiday extra special. Plenty of garden space for children to run around and a terrace with spectacular sea views to soak up the evening sun. Highly recommend this property, would differently return.
