Children and canine companions can also join in the fun, five dogs are welcome to stay. You’ll find shops, pubs and eateries in the village, and it’s a short drive to Alnmouth Beach (5 miles). Park in the free public car park nearby (2 minutes’ walk). This cottage is set near the Northumberland Coast AONB, and to the west, you’ll find the hillside market town of Rothbury (12 miles), known as the capital of Coquetdale, and the Northumberland National Park (17.5 miles).
