A fortnight with friends at Tigh Na Mara has given us a wonderful first experience of the beautiful Isle of Arran. A very comfortable and well-equipped property, superbly located on Brodick sea front - which has likeable shops, restaurants, crazy golf, and not too much traffic. A really great spacious property with fantastic views over Brodick Bay towards Goats Fell as well as the Ayrshire coast. Everything you need for a great self catering holiday although the food in nearby restaurants/Brasseries is just too tempting!! A super location from which to explore Arran.

The house has a wonderful view from the lounge, the beds are very comfortable and the radiators work well. It is large and suitable for a large family. However, we had real problems with the hot water supply. We often had cold showers which spoilt the house for us. I would give it three stars at most.

An ideal base to explore the island. There was ample room for 8 adults to live comfortably. We cooked everyday and even though the kitchen is small it was very well equipped as was the rest of the house. If my family would wish to visit Arran together again I wouldnt hesitate to enquire if Tigh Na Mara is available. Oh and I forgot to mention the aRead moremazing view from the lounge window.
