The warm and welcoming kitchen/diner with warming wood burner and exposed beams is a sociable space to prepare meals together and linger over supper at the large wooden table. Take the granite stone steps to the first floor where you will find the large and inviting lounge with arched chapel windows and exposed beams. Sink into one of the plump sofas for a relaxed evening in front of the TV. A few steps lead to the cosy snug with wood burner. When it’s time for bed there are four individually designed bedrooms to choose from arranged over the first and second floors. On the first floor are a comfortable king-size bedroom and a twin room. Climb the beautiful oak staircase where there is a bunk bedroom ideal for younger guests, and a stunning four-poster king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom. Lovely place to stay, with a very friendly welcome. Equipped to a high standard and ample space indoors. A very tasteful conversion with more than a hint of luxury. We were a family of four and had plenty of space to relax. The weather was atrocious, so we did not go out much, but the Hall was a lovely place to unwind. Plenty of books and games to Read moreplay, including apool table, plus TVs with various subscriptions. A lovely place to stay. Hide

Wonderful place to stay in a lovely location. Extremely helpful and welcoming host and we will certainly look to return. We had Christmas at Thimble Hall with the family (three sets of adults and two small children). It was perfect. Lots of room, beautifully set out and equipped, and with amazing views a lovely local walks.

Thimble hall is a beautifully renovated chapel in a spectacular setting, that offers 4 bedrooms with comfortable beds, a spacious and well equipped kitchen and 4 bathrooms. My family of 6 loved the accommodation and the beautiful grounds. The bath and showers were luxurious. W For visitors from the US, the roads are very narrow and the location somRead moreewhat remote. Cell phone service for our phones was very spotty to non existent. We loved the birds, cows and alpacas that were our neighbors. Hide

The property is fabulous and Simon, the host, was very helpful. The location enabled a wider exploration of the Tamar Valley and the North of Cornwall. A great holiday. Although the proprty was large, it always felt warm. A signal for calls or text was patchy but the wi-fi was excellent to contact our family. The stone spiral staircase from the kitRead morechen to the lounge only allowed one person at a time but also had good iron hand rails to hold as you use them. We hope to return soon. Hide
