Wonderful former vicarage with rustic look and feel, large rooms, a host of period features and stunning grounds with croquet lawn, pond and a fire pit seating area.

Stay at this handsome period home at West Lulworth and enjoy having the dramatic Jurassic Coast right on your doorstep. Parties of up to eight guests can stay at the former vicarage, making it ideal for group celebrations or two families. Enjoy the 19th century beauty of the four-bedroom home, built from local Purbeck stone. Relax in its elegant, sun-filled rooms, play croquet on the lawn and take in the views across the countryside. Take two happy hounds with you and enjoy long walks along the South West Coast Path or wander down to the beach to play on the sand and splash in the sea.

Step into the house and find yourselves in a traditional hall leading to a downstairs cloakroom. Wander on into the kitchen, which has everything you need to prepare hearty feasts for your group. Pause at the breakfast table with a cup of coffee in the morning or wander out into the sunshine through the back door. Find the capacious lounge is a grand space, where you and your friends and family can spread out, play games and light the open fire in the marble fireplace. Enjoy the airy ambience, as well as the period features, and simply gaze out at the views. Find a useful utility room, with tumble dryer, on the ground floor and follow the staircase up to find two of your bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom, on the first floor. A family bathroom and wet room are also at this level. Members of your party wishing to watch TV or escape with their book, will also find a second lounge here. The two remaining bedrooms are on the second floor, where there are lower door frames and the rooms have some restricted head height due to sloping ceilings. Make the most of the enchanting, mature gardens, with their beautiful beds and pretty pond, at this property by dining out in the fresh air and playing games with the children on the lawn. As dusk falls light the fire pit and admire the night skies. Find generous off-road parking.

The house is beautiful and location perfect for accessing the coastal path and a range of beaches. The house has a comfortable lived-in feel with lovely vintage kitchenware to use. Huge living rooms and lots of space for two families to share. It was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The garden is great for games and eating out

Stunning location and a beautiful building with a lovely garden and plenty of room for our family of 8. Unfortunately some of the furniture and the available utensils etc need replacing and hygiene in bathrooms left a lot to be desired. The bedding in some of the rooms was disgusting....mattresses and pillows the worst I have ever seen. In the quieRead moret village of West Lulworth, it really is a fantastic property. 5 star prices for a 3 star stay. A small outlay and a good cleaner needed. Hide

Our family party consisted of 6 adults and two children, aged 6 yrs and 3 yrs. The Old Vicarage is beautiful and has lots of beautiful artefacts and object d'art, but isn't really suitable for young children. We felt that the twin bedded room, on the 2nd floor, which is opposite a double room, was the obvious choice for the children as their parentRead mores could be in the double room opposite. To cross between the two rooms requires passing the un-gated top of the stairs. A potential night time hazard Hide
