Step through the front door into the spacious entrance hall where there is plenty of space to hang up your coats and leave shoes and walking boots. Leave keys and wallets on the hallway table and head through into your inviting living room. Comfortable sofas invite you to sink into them, put your feet up and relax with a glass of wine in the evening. Play a family board game on the coffee table or light the wood burner and sit and chat late into the evening. For family movie nights, get the popcorn ready and head into the TV room. Gather together in the spacious kitchen/diner that stretches the length of the house, making this perfect for social mealtimes.  Cook up a storm in the stylish contemporary kitchen that comes equipped with everything you could require, including double electric oven and electric hob, fridge, freezer and microwave. allowing for our visit being in September/October, the house could use some TLC. ie. shower control knob kept falling off, heated towel rail could not be used as it leaked when valve was turned. no information on local services - doctors, dentist etc.

This beautiful, clean and well furnished home was waiting for us after a long drive. We fell in love with the village and the Old Manse. The village has a general store and a wonderful cafe as well as many walks along the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. It is so quiet and the room darkening curtains helped us to rest and to feel very comfoRead morertable. The kitchen is well equipped and large enough for all five of us to be making snacks and food at the same time. There is a large dining room with a table that seats eight and two living rooms that allowed the adults quiet time while the children watched movies and played games. This house and area were the highlights to our stay in Scotland. Hide
