Teenagers will enjoy the privacy of the second reception area, but the whole family will be able to come together at mealtimes in the formal dining room, which has superb hand-painted decor and another open fire. A farmhouse-style kitchen will inspire even the most reluctant of cooks with its Range oven and various gadgets and ample work surfaces. Upstairs, the seven bedrooms provide a variety of washing and sleeping facilities across the first and second floors, including a double with an adjoining single bedroom at the top of the house ideal for families. Three of the bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms or shower rooms, and there are two family-sized bathrooms. An amazing house, parts of it possibly medieval, rooms all of a good size, ideal base for an extended family get-together holiday. The camel ride experience is worth a try.

What a wonderful few days at The Old Farmhouse. Great property which met our needs - our annual extended family holiday which we couldnt have last year. Idyllic Cotswolds countryside with a hint of the exotic. The Old Farmhouse is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay with the added novelty of camels, both Dromedary and Bactrian grazing right outside the house. Plenty to do within a short drive and we would recommend the camel experience to anyone who likes animals.

Great location but this is near a working farm so expect noisy dogs at 5am! Cleanliness could have been improved and some duvets/mattresses need replacing. Bring your own loo rolls and soaps as they don't provide sufficient. Croquet on the sloping lawn was fun but only one decent mallet. Good walks and villages nearby.
