This modern style and wonderfully renovated former coach house offers a large family or group of friends the ideal holiday home with luxury comforts throughout. Situated within a secluded corner of the owner’s private grounds , the original house was built in 1703 by the Spencer family. Guests are not far from some fantastic venues and locations, including Stowe National Trust site,just a short drive by car, as well as Woburn Safari Park and Silverstone Race Track both close by. A short journey will bring you to the beautiful Cotswolds or the stunning university City of Oxford which provides a fantastic day out sightseeing and soaking up the history. For a good range of shops, restaurants and pubs,  the town of Buckingham is just five miles away.

Guests enter this beautiful property through the front door and immediately arrive in the well-equipped stylish kitchen which has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is an extendable table in the kitchen which seats up to eight guests should you wish to dine in. To the right-hand side of the kitchen is the hallway which leads to four bedrooms. The master bedroom is located at the end of the hallway and boasts a super-king size bed, along with it’s own en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The master bedroom also has a walk in wardrobe so there is plenty of space for all your clothes and belongings. The next bedroom along is a king-size again with plenty of storage in the built-in wardrobes. Bedroom three is a twin zip-and-link (which can be made up to a super-king-size on request), bedroom four is a double room which is also next to the shower room which has a shower and WC. Heading back down the hallway and through the kitchen you will find the spacious lounge area which has two sofas and a chair along with a large flat screen TV and an open fire place which provides the absolute perfect relaxation area where can relax in front of the fire with your favorite show on. The stairs in the lounge lead to study area with a desk and a snug area with bean bags and a TV which provides a less formal spot to relax and unwind.

The outside area is to the front of the property and is a fully enclosed patio area which has table and chairs for guests to soak up some sun along with a BBQ should wish to experience some al fresco dining. There is parking for up to two vehicles at the front of the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Set in the quaint and historic village of Wicken, the cottage is perfect for visiting many local places of interest, with the National Trust’s 300-year-old Georgian gardens at Stowe within easy reach (8 miles). Other local attractions include the Silverstone racing circuit (8.5 miles), Canons Ashby (17.5 miles) and Woburn Safari Park (18 miles). The thriving market town of Buckingham (6 miles) offers an array of restaurants, pubs and independent shops as well as the Old Gaol Museum. The bustling town of Milton Keynes (9 miles) is home to Ouse Valley Park, the Xscape snowdome and a cinema, with opportunities for a range of activities including golf, Go Karting and shopping. Heading a little further afield you can enjoy a day out in the Cotswolds (30 miles to the west) or the Chiltern Hills (22 miles south).

A last minute booking for us but what a jewel we stumbled upon. A Perfect space and wifi for my husband to work, a very well equipped kitchen, luxurious bedding and towels. Superb walks on our doorstep through the fields and local woods. Evenings spent by the fire. A well stocked library and a very peaceful reading room in-house. A beautiful place to stay. Everything was so clean & well presented. Quality White Company bedding & towels added to the luxury feeling. The beds were really comfortable & aided a restful nights sleep in this quiet location. The view of sheep & horses in the morning was lovely to wake up to. This cottage is an absolute gem. We were made welcome by a very charming lady. Cottage immaculate,following every precaution for a safe holiday. Beds so comfy. Lovely deep bath for relaxing soak. The cottage was beautifully appointed, and the fresh flowers and the fire laid with paper, kindling and logs, all ready to light, were lovely touches. We would certainly stay again and recommend it very highly to others.

The Coach House is absolutely gorgeous, beautifully presented and so comfortable. Beds and linen so big and pumphly. Excellent location, Wicken is very peaceful and yet so close to everything (highly recommend dinner in the White Lion which is literally minutes walk away). It is a beautiful property. The location is great, extremely clean and perfectly decorated to a very high standard. Everything was provided from White Company towels to dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. Would certainly Recommend this property.

Such a beautiful place to stay with everything you could need for comfort. Lovely welcoming hosts, gorgeous house and grounds, fantastic walks for the dog and a short drive for so many great days out. We really enjoyed our time here and would thoroughly recommend it to others.

We were a family of 6 (4 adults, 2 children + a dog). The property is lovely, with a great TV snug, outside seating and key for us, easy and safe access to the fields for children and dog. Wicken is a nice village with lots of surrounding walks. Highly recommended as a place to relax and unwind.

This is a wonderful retreat tucked away in the stunning private grounds of the owners.
