The house was lovely in a very quiet, picturesque hamlet, ideal for a three generation holiday. There were seven of us in total. The lounge was a good size for this number and the kitchen/diner too. Beautiful spacious barn conversion in as tranquil a location as you will find. The fly fishery is just a 5 minute walk from the front door and is absolutely beautiful!!! bring plenty of provisions if self catering as the nearest shops are quite a drive away along one car lanes. Will definitely be back thank you!!

Had a fantastic week at 'The Barn'. The house was lovely, spotlessly clean and the location was perfect, quiet and rural without feeling isolated and with the added bonus of being able to charge our electric car. Lots of dog walks direct from the house and great drives out to visit Ullswater, Windermere and Hadrians Wall. Would highly recommend.
