The property is just a mile from the friendly village of Bleasby which has some great pubs and makes a great base for visitors to the local fisheries or Notts County Sailing Club. Local attractions include the National Civil War Centre, Newark Castle and Gardens and the Palace Theatre all in the thriving market town of Newark (9.5 miles). The River Trent has some lovely walks, or you can head to the vibrant city of Nottingham (14.5 miles) which has a range of fantastic pubs, cinemas, restaurants, shops and theatres.

Had an absolutely amazing time. My family loved it. My son really loved the fishing. It was his 50th birthday and he said he couldn't have wished for better surroundings for sharing it with all the family.

The bathrooms would certainly improve by the addition of some shelves for toiletries, bath mats and loo paper holders. Mirrors in bedrooms would also be welcome. In the terrace, attention to clearing cobwebs from under the balcony would greatly improve the area as it would also be a major improvement the possibility to control the lights not to comRead moree on all at the same time. A lovely weekend getaway here made it feel like a month. Greatly located, beautiful site and very secure. Felt as if we were away in another hot country. All boys and girls recommended to come back here sometime soon and we cannot wait.

This cottage has plenty of property and has nice beds and bathrooms. The view is lovely and there is a security gate to get in so it makes you feel safe. The owner is very nice and responds quickly to any questions or issues. Would stay here again.
